The epitome of most things that are wrong in football and any sport really....compensating natural lack of ability and strength or pace with dirty fouls, opponent provocation, constant referee hassling, pure cynicism in all aspects, play acting and hundreds of other faults. Complete lack of class whatsoever...
Does all this go unnoticed for some average passing ability and stubbornness in the playing field?
How much lower really can one go ?
I wonder why they didn't vote for Fellaini instead ?

Herrera has had a really good season. I think he deserves United's POTY award.

That is incredible. I 100% agree with everything you say. Over the years we've had a few hard men, but they had footballing talent to go with it. Things must be even worse over there at old toilet than I thought. Happy days.

I can't speak for others. I really don't like snide players who look to foul and cheat and he most certainly fits the bill. Added to that he is a diver. That he plays for the mancs just makes it worse. But Iwould say the same about wherever he plays.

Thought Ibrahimovic should have got it. The first season since Ferguson left that De Gea didn't win it.

Mourinho can use that if his style was questioned, every other season since Ferguson left the keeper won it, under him an outfield player left.

Really do not think this lad is all that.

He puts himself about, obviously loves the club and is a good-to-middling passer of the ball but he isn't really excellent at anything.

I used to fear players on United's teamsheet when we faced them but when they're eulogising about someone like this it's actually a positive for us. I just look at the likes of Herrera and Pogba and think, 'We can shut them down easily'.

I think he's decent and as much as you can say this about a footballer he seems to "get it" with Manchester United.

    100% this.

He's the only player who actually gives 100% every game for his team.

We may all dislike him, but he has the passion and and the drive that every team needs.

I like him 'cos he's a bit gnarly and we are sorely missing that in our team.

As a player he's no better than Hendo just much more of a ****.

It says a lot about United that Herrera is the player of the year. Goal scoring is a problem for them, especially with Ibrahimovic out. Their big priority for next season is signing Griezmann and other proven goal scorers. At LFC our problem is not scoring goals; it's defending.
