We do, but it's not like the top teams are especially good or anything. So its pretty doable if we are smart.

Big If I know, considering we are LFC

Unfortunately we have had a succession of "attack minded" managers who seem to relegate defending to a position of no importance. In fact I think Brendon and Jurgen are totally disinterested in thinking about defense.

Until this problem is ruthlessly addressed we will always struggle because we ship to many goals and in particular have absolutely no idea about defending corners. If Jurgen can not be bothered with this aspect of the game, he needs to bring a "defense specialist" who is not totally bored with the whole concept, can recruit the right calibre of defender and can coach the defending aspect of the game.

The present back four availabilities are all only worthy of "back up" status.

    Steve Clarke and Sami Hyypia.

    Bob's your uncle.

I don't think top four is going to change anything immediately but it is a good steppingstone to where we would like to be eventually.

It all about the attitude from top down. Win at all cost or let see if we can challenge
