    From Sky

"The new line-up, which will be introduced on July 18, includes dedicated channels for Premier League, football, cricket, golf and F1.
The new ten channel package will continue to be priced at 27.50 per month that will be frozen for the next 12 months.
Significantly, Sky is bringing in more flexibility in its channel packages, with a single channel pack available for 18 per month, two for 22 and three for 26."

So looks like it will go up with a bang for those who want to keep all the sport channels...in 12 months.

Yes one year of joy, well 27.50, then it will turn to tears as the hike will come in. Sky income driven television which finds most of its gains going to the EPL which in turn ends up with massive inflation for transfers, wages and of course AGENT fees.

Given I want to be able to watch PL, the league cup, F1 and England cricket...looks like I'll get shafted in 12 months.

I'd put money on the pack prices to go up then too.

It will not be long before the whole sky tv package including LFC and BT Sports will hit 150+.

cheers. so reading between the lines i predict sky will move football across all three channels in an attempt to force people to buy the packages @ 26 per month.

    edit: eventually.

indeed and i think its becoming unsustainable as i can't see either sky or bt going beyond the current "price" once this cycle is over.

I only need the football. Everything else can go.

I do like a bit of F1 and cricket but not enough to pay for a dedicated channel.

damn i was too slow.. just edited my post with the word "eventually" . i get that is the proposed line up currently, but i would not put it past them a bit down the line to filter some prem games to other channels - justifiably ofc.

I can't see many subscribers having less than 3 channels anyway.

    I think it's a great idea.

I think I'll be taking the PL only package.

If it's just one package for the footie I think I'll get that. You have to pay extra for the big boxing fights, anyway.
