I wish we try a swap of Sakho and Manolas regardless of what we do with VVD unless Klopp thinks Sakho could be his trump card in convincing the Saints to sell VVD to him considering how deep we are in the window. If the Saints decide to sell VVD, they are likely to require a replacement and Klopp may think Sakho could be used in that deal. If not, I really want to see Sakho used in a deal to bring Manolas (he is strong, quick with excellent reactions and defensively solid).
whatever will be the option Mr Klopp will pick up as fourth center back for our defence, I see Mama Sakho will be tucked in in that deal, hopefully,

given that he's out of Mr Klopp favours since a while,

keeping a discontent footballer at our club hurts the footballer himself and stunts his career, and doesn't help to finance the acquisition of further quality reinforcements for the club,

    cheers,

Manolas would be a good buy. suits our team better than Koulibaly.

Strong, powerful, pace to burn, loves to tackle and available for £30m, what are we waiting for ? Snap him up now and if VVD does become available, get him as well.

not forgetting roma accepted 27m from zenith for him and he didn't turn up for the medical so he's definitely a no brainer at that price ! I mean we could get both him and howedes for less than VVD would cost

linked to Benedikt Howedes for this remaining ten days of transfer session,

wow, finally something looks moving on our way in,

would be a very strong fall back alternative to VVD indeed,

    let's get him in!

He's certainly an upgrade to Klavan

    don't worry, mate,

    let's get him in,

he's still better than who we actually usually deploy as left sided center back (Lovren, Klavan),

What is this Mustafi story? Would Arsenal consider a swap for Sakho?

Mustafi looks as bound to stay at the gooners despite a Inter Milan approach for him,

I don't right think Mr Wenger could be interested to lure Mama Sakho to his club,

don't think it's the kind of center back he's going to seek to boost his inattentive backline,

May not have any choice, that or another loan. Think one of the biggest mistakes of the summer was slapping price tags on players, £30m on Sakho wasn't it and £15m on Moreno.

Probably some psychological ploy to make the players feel important
People will believe what they want to believe

In this crazy market, that's actually cheap.

if the baggies are interested in Mama, let's try to pile up as much bucks as we can,

and reinvest the amount on a proper accountable strong center back before the window shuts,

Benedikt Howedes or Kostas Manolas would make to our case,

I think if we recoup £30m from Mama, the chunk will be enough to sign one of the two I quoted above,

Seriously, why are we not interested in Mustafi if Arsenal are ready to sell? Maybe, we can interest them in Sakho as well. Shouldn't we be all over this?

I'm so ********** at Klopp for totally ignoring my advice on selling Sakho without bringing in a new CB

unfortunately he's gone to spurs and hardly he'll leave a club challenging for the EPL title and a long run in UCL for peanuts,

    very unlikely, mate,

    I understand your bitterness, buddy,

if spurs won't qualify for next season Champions League, perhaps the colombian center back might become one of our defensive targets for next summer transfer campaign,

to not rule out that hypothesis,

Well spotted! A very good young CB. Can he cope with the physicality of the PL? I don't know. If we can't get VVD, I still think we should go for Vogt or get de Vrij on a cut-price deal in the next window. Equally, Inter might not want to lose Miranda on free and he could be available for a cut-price fee for a couple of seasons!

We need CBs with pace and good acceleration.

    Van Dijk, Vogt, Söyüncü, Stark...

De Vrij will struggle with pacey forwards like Lovren does.

we certainly don't need Dayot Upamekano from Leipzig, a very hyped and young but rather mistake prone and inexperienced center back,

no way we should lodge a bid for him,

watched several Leipzig clips before convincing myself that he's not the man for us,
