Random men in black sent from an unspecified government agency: Hey, you random group of students from Wigan attempting to send a pie towards space on a weather balloon for the annual World Pie Eating Championships, what lens are you using to record this pie?

Students: A fish eye lens, it's good for wide angle panoramic shots.

Random men in black sent from an unspecified government agency: Ok no problem then. We've got a worldwide conspiracy to keep up here, can't have you guys revealing the world is actually flat now can we?

Ah yes well spotted. From Sheffield but the event took place in Wigan.

    That changes everything.

Possible future craft exploring Europa in more detail (NASA budget would dictate).

This is one of a few moon/planets that could contain life outside our own planet so I'm quite excited about this.

Europa and Titan definitely look the best bets for life in the solar system outside Earth.

I really fancy titan for that but it would be a massive undertaking to get anywhere near the surface to test. Europa is definitely the easier of the two to look at though. Obviously we aren't that advanced where we can land and probe but if they don't send a few probes through ice plumes they'd have missed a trick.

Just an observation. Not students either...or at least I missed where it explicitly stated that if they are.

    Its good to be observant.

If someone posts something I find it best to give it serious consideration and at least attempt to understand it before dismissing it out of hand. In order to do so such facts/details are important.

Some people prefer not to even bother looking and instead dismiss things.

Wouldn't the bother looking depend on actually liking pies?

So wait there, whatís happened now?

Something to do with a Pie going into space from Wigan, but it was actually made in St Helens.

A CGI Pie made in St Helens even. But then it never actually went into space, it stayed in Wigan or St Helens but just pretended to go to space?

Granted itís more legit than Flat Earth, but Iím totally ******* lost here.

Gibberigash. Pies from Wigan to St. Helens? that's just pie in the sky stuff. Patrick Moore would be most dissapointed.
