Exactly, and if he doesn't succeed we'll probably get 4 times our outlay in return. It's a win win really!

    Cool
This time next year you'll be saying......
Everton sign a burned out has been.
Untied were seen coming for 75M for a striker who spent 180mins in Lovern's pocket last 2 seasons running.
And we signed the best striker in world football from Chelsea for 3million!

One thing from your post and it's not aimed at your directly, but why do people always say oh I want him to do well when we sign a player, yeah no ****.

It happened after we signed Andy Carroll about a year later after he had disappointed, I'm walking to the ground and hear a fan say to his mate, I want him to do well and come good. Well why wouldn't you. Of course you'd want a player to come good and bang in the goals, rather then fail. You are going to the game, so care about the team so want the team to succeed.

Then you get some on here with I told you so attitudes when a player fails for us or does well for are rivals and they take delight in being proven right even though it's to the cost of the team, so they should want to be proven wrong.

    Welcome lad!

Also have a plastic pal who was annoyed to lose him so that can only be good news.

    Sure mate.

That was the whole point with me starting the thread, but some people can't contain themselves from being disrespectful.

    But I'll heed your advice.

If he scores as many league goals next season as there are deleted posts in this topic, we will win the league.

Welcome to a great club with only a few moronic supporters Dominic - a distinct improvement on your last club.

Player of the tournament at the recent U20's World Cup, which England won and Dominic was top scorer. Highly mobile big unit with good passing and reads the game well. I see comparisons to Aubemayang, but to me this 19 year old has the look of another Lewandowski. He's going to surprise a lot of people under Klopp's tutelage and will play more of a first team role than many imagine this year.

Lets give him some credit. He ditched Chelsea to come to Livrpool and work under Klopp and drive his career forwards. Bit like Millie. That shows ambition and maturity. Lets get FULLY behind him, please.

Welcome to the club Dom! Wishing you all the best lad! Looks a great player for his age and will only get better under Klopp's tutelage.

And don't worry la, people like AngriestRed & Emaxx2 never go to games anyway so you'll never have to deal with them.

Not very much. In snooker parlance, he's a shot to nothing. I keep hearing 3mil decided by some tribunal of wise guys somewhere.

Supposedly 3m in a tribunal - but reports of Chelsea demanding 10m after the under-20s.

Given his general lack of experience, it would be a travesty if we had to pay that much. How much did we get Ings for in the end? 6m was it?

Yeah Ings is the most expensive tribunal signing. I think it was 6 mill that could rise to 8 or something.

I think we'll probably end up paying 5 mill for Dom Corleone.

Which would still be acceptable - in this stupid market, we could still double that in 18-24mths time, worst case scenario if he doesn't work out.

Why are people bent out of shape about this? He's just been voted the player of the tournament at the U20 World Cup which his team won.

I was really surprised when I saw the LFV TV footage of training sessions from last week how big the lad is, over 6ft, he's a unit.
I'm sure he'll be used in cup games this year and he looks a real prospect.

Ing's tribunal was 6M as he was a premier league starter, Solanko will probably be below that which is an absolute bargain.

    Welcome to Liverpool Domini, YNWA.

aye. i watched both the U20 and U21 games cause of the other guy, tammy abrahams was in the news and to me, solanke stood out whilst abrahams did not. we could have a decent player on our hands. hopefully get some minutes tomorrow so we can take a closer look.

hopefully he'll carry out a compelling pre-season and shut up any annoying doubter,

3m splashed for him might turn in a massive bargain, whatever being the long term future of this bloke,

let's take a closer look at his present!

Good luck to the lad. He's been hailed as one of those 'wonder kid's' for a few seasons now so hopefully he can fulfill that potential.

3 million for a young talented English player is an absolute steal these days.

Apparently he wants number 9 on his shirt, think you'll have to earn that Dom but good luck. Based on England performances you're in with a shout so get out there and show us.
