He was more than a decent LB given he's right footed.
If we get a proper LB this summer, wouldn't he more helpful on the RB position?
I'll never forget his crosses from the right side in the second half of 2015-16 season. Especially the BVB game at Anfielf.
I think he'd be better than Clyne.
Plus, he can shoot and can also take penalties.
Clyne can't cross, can't shoot, can't head a ball in defence. Oh and he also can't defend.

In my opinion, Alexander-Arnold is a better option than Milner and it's best he learns from a proper RB in Clyne.

Clyne is our starting RB this season. Peoooe Ned to accept that and move on.

TAA is an excellent understudy and I think if Gome stays, he's probably looking at being a utility auxiliary squad RB. So we are more than covered in that area.

I hope you've got your helmet on. This was discussed quite vigorously a few weeks back.

By the way, I think you're 100% right about Clyne.

Clyne needs to sort himself out this season or he'll be on the bench with TAA waiting. Hopefully TAA will push him enough to make him grow a brain or two.

We seriously need some decent fullbacks for once...just someone who is adventurous and isn't scared to go past his winger.

Having to watch Clyne and Milner...especially 2nd half of season was depressing.

I honestly don't get this thread

We have two settled and sold right backs and you want to player Milner there ?

I have no concerns about our right back position outside of is it Clyne or TAA who is favourable

Milner is a solid pro but I'll never be convinced that he's a fullback. Should be playing in midfield or not at all.

TAA is a great prospect so he will be an excellent understudy to Milner who's a far better player than Clyne.

**** that. TAA is already a better right back than Milner.

Wish we never signed him. Absolutely dreadful as a CM, shoehorned into a LB and now people are asking if he should be shoehorned into a RB. Hopefully he'll be gone by this time next summer.

What would TAA learn from Clyne? How to let your man run goal side of you? How to look less threatening than a man at war with a water pistol?

I'd be happy with Milner at RB if Clyne got injured at some point. I know Arnold is coming through aswell..

Frustrates sometimes but moments like his clip to Lovren against Dortmund and his experience are why he's valued by Jurgen Klopp and many fans.

I think Klopp doesn't put value on the fullback position like some managers do. We've got a finite budget and the lion's share is earmarked for two positions. Fullbacks will have to be addressed in another window.

I still think Milner offers something at full back that others don't, he naturally steps into that midfield area well especially when we are on it with the press, was important in winning back possession in that sense.

A natural full back tends to stick wide or be wary about coming in field without the ball.

I think Milner did a fine job back there and while we clearly need another option and someone to displace him but for now he's earned his spot, I'm not as against him playing at LB as others are.

For the right back TAA competing with Clyne should be interesting

The Question doesn't really make sense, when we have Clyne and TAA competing for that spot.
I think Milner should stay at LB, he did well until he ran out of steam towards the 2nd half of the season, as long as there is suitable competition to cover for him and give him a rest, I have no huge worries about fullback positions.
I also think having Henderson back in the "DM" position will help him too, in terms of covering when Milner goes forward and that added bit of energy

You think he did a fine job but clearly needs to be displaced but you're fine if he continues to play at LB.Got it

Given boring questions ? By whom ?

Why doesn't he just make them up himself ?

Well it was planned interview by the media team to create some content for the fanbase so I'm assuming they gave the questions they had to Milner rather than making him come up with ones himself. (also, given the fact that the questions are like the ones they usually ask anyway).

No big deal though. I like seeing the players do behind the scenes stuff (waits for the dirty joke).

Plenty of room for improvement with Clyne's crosses.
