I get your point, but do you think Milner will be played at LB at burnley if that was the only position he can play for them?

Considering they had to play Flanagan there, yeah probably

one would have to say no. he probably doesn't have the quality or attributes for what Klopp requires from a fb. however, he played out of his skin when he came into the team during the almost title Suarez season. I also remember THAT goal against Spurs - and nobody during that run thought Flanagan was a weak link or wouldn't make it here....so you could say that he does have it in him. Having said all that, the ship has probably sailed. Saddens me but hey much of reality does.

Would be the comeback of all comebacks if he got back in the team. Would love to see it but suspect not.

    THIS.
I have more chance of winning the national lottery and I don't play.

I doubt he'll play regularly at any PL club.

It's not that he's even particularly bad, but you just can't see a manager at any PL club choosing him. He has no stand out qualities to sell and he's even quite hard to look at. You can't as a manager sell him to your fanbase.

I thought he did a good job until his injury and our defence suffered in his absence. I was surprised that he did not get more play at Burnley. I hoped he would make a good showing against Tranmere Rovers and he did. Very good, and that's not just my opinion but also that of the commentators on LFC GO. In fact he was one of the best on the field.

I think if his loan spell at Burnley went well I'd say yes.

Since it didn't I think he's got a mountain to climb unfortunately for him.
