I have long been wondering if Flano can make it here, he had a great start to his career here under King Kenny, he was plagued with injury but fought back, had a loan to help him with his recovery and now it looks like he might figure somewhere in Klopp's plans, I think he has all the skills and the desire.

He can defend, he can attack, he has great awareness, boy can he tackle, he is passionate and I honestly believe that when fully fit he is better than Moreno or Milner.

What he may lack is a tiny bit of pace and perhaps at times he has shown a few maturity and temperament issues.

I love his passion, I want him so succeed so much, I don't think there has been a player I have wanted to succeed as much as I want Flano to make it, I might be a bit blinkered.

    What are your views.

I like Flanno he's a good defensive full-back but I don't think he has the pace & attacking nous to be a first teamer for us.

I highly doubt it, but if no reasonable offers come in for him Klopp might not be opposed to the idea of having a scouse, die-hard Liverpool fan in the squad. Especially as he covers two positions we're weak in.

    and hardly played.

Joey Barton played more games for Burnley that season, despite only signing again in January and getting banned before the season ended.

As much as people want to fool and kid themselves into thinking Flanagan is a good player, the answer is no. No, he can not and will not break back into the first team.

Klopp really really likes him. Cafu really really likes him. Suarez absolutely adored him. Unfortunately he's not quite at the level we need. His efforts endear him to people but I just don't think he will make it.

I love him, I really do he's actually a good footballer too but he runs as fast as most players jog so that for me will never allow him to make it, especially as a full back

I don't particularly like him as a footballer or as a person but I wouldn't be devastated if he played some games. I don't really rate any of our other fbs all that highly.

He's solid defensively from what I remember of his time here. Strong in the tackle and an old fashioned no nonsense defender.

Only trouble is he'd be behind Clyne and Trent so he'd only really feature in the Carling cup or if we had another injury plague.

He's a decent option for 3rd choice RB, let's not be overly harsh here. Besides, he might thrive at the chance to play again and surprise people.

I actually prefer him on the left to our other options.

I think that his ship has sailed. I will be very surprised if he stays this season.

Doubt it. If, he should have done it by now based on the level we have had on LB and RB (the spots for him fighting for).

He's not better than TAA LB or RB so probably the best option for all parties would be a sale.

We need some local homegrown lads in the team, but unfortunately I think Flannagan would be to the detriment of the squad.

Thought he was decent in 13/14. Would definitely cash in on him though.

nope. unfortunately trent has now appeared on the scene and is more likely to eventually replace clyne and there really isn't any need for a 3rd back up right back so flanno is going to have to move on to further his career.

He couldn't regularly get into Burnley's team and people are asking if he can break into our team? Jesus.
