Ha - I feel a little guilty because I probably jump the queue in front of those that don't know IT...like the elderly and the really infirm. I tell myself the docs keep some appointments reserved for them for when they call...

My mate in the USA used to call NHS direct for a first consultation cause it was free!

    Smart move.

I had an MRI for a brain tumour a couple of years back, and compared costs… in the USA it would've been between $2,000-$6,000… in Australia about $200-$600… and all it cost me was the couple of bucks for the hospital parking building.

    Sweet.

I reckon that 'BONGGGGG' sound is just one tiny level below the need to press the 'get me outa here' button! No wonder that some people cannot cope with it.

I got through it by counting each 'bong.' Tedious.

    Seriously, that just sounds wrong.

My sounds had a definite (small) space between, not fast.

If the controllers said something occasionally an MRI wouldn't be so bad...but knowing there is a mic and they can hear everything keeps you from talking to yourself, screaming, confessing sins hidden by the din.

It's the drum roll one that stuck in my mind.

Leggings and the fact that they're available in sizes that would fit the back end of a bus.

People who use the word 'cheeky' before they do something.

Cheeky gym session, cheeky KFC, cheeky cup of tea and so on.
