Some Christmas manager 'feuds' brewing this morning. Exciting times...

Silva doing a Rafa on Allardyce, and Wenger having a dig at Pochettino for conceding the league.

Yeah, Wenger is dead right, but it’s unlike him to say that sort of thing, I thought it was pretty funny tbh. Ironically, with Silva talking about his age vs Allardyce, he really did show his age by gett8ng into that nonsense, especially with Sam, he’ll love that!

And according to the bbc rumours this morning, Sam is apparently interested in signing Deeney. He'd be a good signing too.

Clattenburg admits he was bending the rules for making football a better spectacle and having his own "game plan" in mind.

Lets you wonder how many more refs do it. Lets you wonder whether United gets away with all their fouls in the box to keep the title race exciting. And the phantom foul in the Brighton/Liverpool game. Was the "game plan" to start another "small team" come back show? Hopefully this story gets the attention it needs. Share it if you can.

We remain in the CL and also the FA Cup and who knows how far we can/will go in both? We also need to be on top of our game, such is the quality at the top of the PL, to ensure that we will at least claim the coveted fourth spot. Then, of course, comes the World Cup in which many of our first team squad will participate. Although I know that Asian, Australia and American pre season tours generate revenue for the club in the form of shirt sales and other merchandise, I am really hoping that someone at the club (and I've no idea who), will recognise that the players do not want to be carted around half the world to play in some rather meaningless tournaments. It is not that long ago that we used to go to a pre season training camp in Switzerland. To me, come July 2018, that would be about as far as our players should be asked to travel. I know those who play in the World Cup will be given extra time off! I'm talking about the general welfare of the squad to ensure we are ready to go in August.

Certainly a prime example of 'just keep yer gob shut.'

There'll be an official FA Investigative Committee next, to address concerns raised etc etc

The mighty dollar drives those sometimes nonsensical tournos.

Sod Switzerland… put them all on a bus to Prestatyn. Some nice fields for training, there… and for relaxation they could nip down to Rhyl's wee funfair.

I remember when the pre season consisted of a game the Saturday before the season began. Reds v Whites and then the manager picked the team for the season opener!!!

Hopefully Chelsea sues Clattenburg. Sending off 3 Tottenham players would have likely resulted in a Chelsea win. 2 more points and they had moved one position higher in the table. So Chelsea lost money because of Clattenburg deliberately not applying the rules.

Most BBC stories these days read that way tbf, it could pass for The Onion at this stage, as could The Guardian.

Question: On the OG that Brighton scored, does Coutinho get an assist?

Does it count as a shot on goal?

Does it count as a shot on target?

    Does it really matter?

Can't see Loris K cycling anywhere any time soon!!

The F.A have created a new rule which states that any Man utd player who passes the ball to Romelu Lukaku will be booked for time wasting

    Jose at it again...

Mourinho spoke only briefly about a rivalry with Guardiola which was at its most intense when the pair were managing in Spain.

Asked to assess the merits of the Spaniard's team, he said: "They are a good team. They defend well, they react well when they lose the ball. They have a good dynamic in attack, have creative movement, amazing players and a fantastic coach."

But he added: "The one thing I don't like a lot is that they lose their balance very easily. A little a bit of wind and they fall."
