Brace yourselves for a grumpy Klopp as Coutinho after Coutinho question will come up in the presser.

No reaction and no news about Coutinho. Club said what they had to say. Nothing different.

No news about his attitude. Hasn't seen him because of back injury. Medcial dept says his attitude is fine.

He recognises it's a difficult situation for him.

I thought it was interesting when the question on Robertson came up. Klopp said he didn't know if he was happy, but he is a specialist and sometimes you could be starting or not in the squad at all. One thing that stood out was when Klopp added that Robertson came late and was still getting acclimated to the style of play.

Could we not expect this and more if anyone was added between now and 8/31? Or with some players can you really just plug and play?

JK on transfers: We are looking but if the transfer window closed yesterday, I already have a team that I like. #LFC

Great, he can take responsibility for the results this season then.

Absolutely. No *********** way is our squad - as it stands now - equipped to deal with all the competitions we will be in this season. If we do well and win something, it will be on Klopp's head. Equally, if we implode, win nothing and fail to make Top 4 this season (in other words, go backwards), it will also be on his head.

Unusual timing today for tomorrows game in pursuit of CL group stage. 7.00pm. Hacks having a moan at having to give up pub time to be present.
Anyway I suppose we will get the regular response from Jurgen with regards to transfers, not so sure we will get anything on Coutinho position, until the window closes.

Hacks deserve to have it as difficult as possible. I like how Klopp is conducting himself in this window, "keeping it tight and like that". He's our Heisenberg

    • Reds boss pleased with FSG backing - says their take on Coutinho is 100 percent clear.
    • Klopp excited about Salah potential.
    • There will be no ‘plan B’ signings - just ‘plan A’
    • Ings will play for U23s tonight.
Well there better be more plan A options than VVD and Keita.

He always does. So far so good.

You have to say you don't need signings otherwise other teams will hold you for ransom even more than they do.

    Expect a few signings.

When even Grenny is trying to boil the manager in a pressure cooker, you know the YNWA spirit is truly lost

Anyway even if we make 27 signings on deadline day, Klopp will still be responsible for failures or successes. He shouldn't be judged on his transfers or lack of. But on his results. So far he got us CL football in his first season. So far, so good.

Matip looks like he'd rather be somewhere else.

Thought this myself when watching. You just knew they were gonna spring the Coutinho question on him too.

Loved his answer, didn't refer to Coutinho once.

Only big news is Phil is not going to be in the squad for the Citeh game. Needs more sessions. Oh well, I thought he should have been on the bench.

Plus Klopp says ox will either play in cm or on either wing ( when he is selected for the team).

So the wing then, even wij is better in midfield than him

Never before has such a high priced signing been greeted by us with so little enthusiasm, probably in part to signing him and missing out on the far superior lemar in the same day

It's purely because we got linked to a popular £92m midfielder at the same time.

Ox is a good addition, the whinging is incomprehensible to me.
