I updated last season too. Apart from the last month!

M-F-S looking strong already. Coutinho and Lallana to add to that midfield too.

Steady start. Nice to have the first clean sheet quite early. We've improved since Watford.

Our front three are all 1 in 2!

If this continues we'll have three 30-goal-a-season players instead of a #9

Feel like that clean sheet won't be needing updating too often anytime soon

We picked it up when Mane was injured at the end of last season. My point is that I think the reason we score alot of goals under Brendan was because of Suarez - as when he left we didn't score so much.

We lost Sturridge too in fairness, and Stevie was on a comedown for about 6 months.

Can't blame it on Stevie, he was our top scorer in 14-15! Yes, we lost Sturridge and we're still waiting for him to come back but Jurgen still has the team scoring goals.

We didn't score goals at the start of 15-16 either. As soon as Klopp came we were thrashing Chelsea and Man City at their own grounds.

Well, well, well. The front three are genuinely on course to hit 30 goals each.

Last season we had to wait until the 27th December for Sturridge's first Premier League goal. I'm glad he's started earlier this year.

Shout out to Karius who has a 100% clean sheet record, but I think Danny Ward deserves a go.

It might be helpful over the course of the season if you could add at the top alongside each heading "Number of games played"

I enjoyed this thread last season, and have a feeling it'll be even more enjoyable this outing. Good work Goth

Thanks for the suggestion mate but I won't bother because this takes enough time as it is.

And I'm the Jock btw! Haha. My YouTube partner is the Goth.

He will probably get a go in the FA Cup early rounds and maybe against Leicester in the League Cup (can't for the life of me remember the new sponsors for it).

Salah 2 clear of Firmino. Nice to see Coutinho and Sturridge contributing.

    Love the Coutinho-Salah wing partnership

Look how spread around our goals and assists are. I'm expecting a title challenge this season. Solanke, Woodburn, Wijnaldum to come too.

It was an absolute pleasure updating this thread this week. We have more goals in the Champions League than we do in domestic competition!

You didn't enjoy the update after the utd game?

In all seriousness the last 8 games haven't been very pleasurable goals wise but if we had a golden chances missed list it would be out of control.

Salah is doing great and also firmino in all fairness.

Who'd have thought trent would have two CL goals to his name after 5 games? Should have hedged a bet on that.

the kids a very talented player, got a whole lot more to come. a few seasons time i wouldn't be surprised to see him in midfield.
