Virtue is starting to look a bit of a player at this level.
I wonder if he will get a go in the 1st eleven in the cups.

We should be home and hosed.
Another wasted chance this time from Alves.

    Been great tonight.

Interesting both the 18s and the 23s have played with a diamond and 2 strikers today.

I thought we dominated the 1st half but we've not given them a kick this half.
Great stuff from the Reds 11.

    Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

    Night all.

That performance probably deserved a more comfortable result in terms of the scoreline. We were miles better than Swansea there.

Nice to see some of the new lads coming up to this level looking very comfortable.

Yeah Eddes they did, I only seen 20 mins of the U18's a very scrappy game. Tonight I thought we controlled the game well with the diamond. Will we switch back to 433?

wow! perfect debut for the U23 selection of Mr Critchley,

a couple of very good goals, a clean sheet, a game totally controlled, and many other chances to make the result even larger,

    well done mini lads!

Yann Dhanda my pick for the MOTM accolade, but even Danny Ings looked sharp and pretty fit in the first half spell Mr Critchley made him run out,

very good performance in the middle of the park as well, where Jordan Williams and Matty Virtue dictated the tempo of the play with great composure and steel,

    congrats all of them,

we just lacked a bit of ruthlessness at the top end of the field, the result could be even more conspicuous,

by the way, very well deserved three points,

keep it up Mr Critchley and all the mini lads!

fingers crossed, this will be another successful draft of youth, some of them with the chance to break through the first team and stay around Melwood,

    C'MON YOU MIGHTY MINI REDS!

ah, I forgot it, fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Interesting, for both to start with a diamond and 2 strikers you think that it's a directive from above, clubs normally like all teams to play the same way.
Can't see the first team starting like that tomorrow but we shall see.
