Assess the Ox after 6 months. Let's see then if he's a fit for us. I suspect he is, he's a Klopp player after all, just needs work on his awful finishing.

I think ideally Klopp would’ve wanted him next summer, but seeing as Chelsea were in for him, and he’s a player he likes, he had to act now. Getting him game time is going to be a real nightmare, and hopefully doesn’t become a distraction for us.

Good time for him to start to put in this week-end. He plays for England yet I really haven't seen anything for us that for me remotely reflects a 40 million signing. Quality players slot in quickly (remembering fondly Suarez's first game) and O-C for me really needs to make his presence felt.
    loyal since 1960.

He did well when he came on, nice to see.

It really showed how desperately lacking we are for a right footer with Salah. As good as he’s been, it’s a big problem.

He did, very direct and gave Darmian a bit of a headache with his pace. Would like to see him get more game time, I think we should perhaps try him on the right, Salah on the left and Phil back in midfield next game. Pace is a good tool to have against these parked buses and without Mane we only really had Salah with any today.

Fair play it was by far his best appearance for us thus far.

Yeah, he at least needs longer sub outings, but that’s a problem with Klopp for some reason. I liked what I saw of him today, very direct as you say. I’m sure he'll take a good bit of confidence from it too. Salah has looked better for the team on the left, but maybe not as likely to get in and score himself. He’s definitely worth a run out there if Ox can perform like that consistently.

more than 6 months.. but yes he seems to be settling and looking less nervous and anxious when he comes on the field. its a big move for him, this is him playing for the club he supported as a kid. obvious early nerves have gotten to him. i thinkhe will prove his worth even in the coming weeks as games come thick and fast

He needs to play to show anything until we judge. Him and robertson should be starting home games

He did. A lot more in his cameo than in the past few matches. Looked hungry.

He's been bashed hard on these forums which is surprising given his extremely limited game time. Let's see what happens when given a couple of proper opportunities to impress. He did well yesterday, he ran at Darmian and generally looked hungry and ready to fight for us out there. I won't write him off until he's been given a fair chance to play. I'd like to see him play in Gini's position for a game, I think he could be effective there because he has speed, he has defensive awareness and he can get up and down the pitch effectively.

Yeah, ridiculous how much he's been written off already, to be honest. I think it will take a while to undo the damage Arsenal and Wenger have done to him, but I do think we'll get a good player out of him in the end. Give Klopp and his team time to work with him in training, give him more than the odd 5 or 10 minutes here and there, and I'm sure we'll see him steadily improve. He was good yesterday when he came on, signs of improvement already. Would like to see him start a few games, starting during the week in the CL and then next week at Spurs. Put him wide and get Coutinho back into CM, where he's needed.

He'll never be a starter for us though
Hope he keeps getting this odd goals so that next summer we can sell him for as much as we got him

When he came on against United he really did look hungry and looked really up for it. Last night he scored. It will do his confidence some good after the past performances over the last couple of months.
