Klopp is one weird fella. Kent and Ojo, but not Markovic and Ings.

Let's say we beat Sevilla at home in our first CL game
then we go to Spartak and we get a draw
after that we have 2 games against Maribor. If we win both of them, by November 21st we can find ourselves qualified for the last 16 of the CL
That's when Markovic and Ings can be useful. We rest our best players for the last 2 games of the group stage so they can be fresh for the busy December fixtures.

Herr Klopp has clearly brought on both Alexander-Arnold and Gomez to play right back and also played Flanaghan there during pre-season and had him on the bench once the season started. He even allowed another RB to be loaned out (Randall) and a former make-shift RB to be sold (Wisdom). So, coaching wise, plenty of thought, planning and preparation has gone into the RB position it seems.

So, I guess, by slating FSG as inept at planning etc what he really means is they (FSG) didn't spend money on bringing somebody else in.
He's just slating the club and FSG for the sake of it warranted or not makes no difference. Why would we bring in another RB if we have 3 that have been used there during pre-season and in the early competitive games excluding Clyne? And then there is always Milner.

It's just stupid to slate the owners over Clyne's injury extent. But what do you expect knowing where it comes from.

Just read this and even you might understand.

That means 4 have to miss out. Those are Bogdan, Clyne, Markovic and Ings. Simple enough. And for the eligible youngsters there is not limit, so might as well.

I see Chelsea (20) and City (21) have both submitted smaller List A squads with no senior CT players - but how do United get up to 24? Wilson and Lingard - who counts as third? Shaw or Jones were both too old weren't they?

Fair enough, so we needed to register those 2.

    4.Matip
    5.Lovren
    6.Klavan

    16.Mane
    17.Salah
    18.Firmino

+ the 4 spaces for homegrown players, meaning we should have had room for one more (Clyne) ?

    What am I missing?

edit - just realised i forgot Milner also, guess thats why Clyne has missed out then, someone had to.

One thing i learned in life is that leaders with no management skills and incompetence at their work are great with buzz words no one understand. Not even them self.
while leaders with good management skills, good and competent at their work knows that the human race have the gift of communication to communicate with their coworkers and fellow human beings, so there can be a mutual understanding in the things communicated.

You said it and its one reason why FSG fail - no one knows what they want, and its clearly different to the supporters, which is why they fail to communicate

Maybe you just don't understand their vision? Doesn't mean no one else knows what they want. They've communicated it all rather clearly, you just aren't willing to comprehend it.

They did communicate what they want. They have just shown great amount of incompetence and ignorance or naivety when it comes to the game.
can't wait to see how this season goes and see how much they have learned or not

I also see that, despite having room Chelsea still didn't include Costa.
