I have no idea what "to throw to Tim" means though. Is his a tv term? As in to hand over to him?
Yes, I would think it means hand over

Stuart Pearce joins Moyes at West Ham. Just gets even funnier.

I loved how you could predict the score of the second team just by the intonation in his voice.

Bristol Rovers Nil, Peterborough United four

For sure, he would actually be a big upgrade on Can, however as the article seems to suggest I would not see him as a Coutinho replacement, as you say due to the source we will hold fire on this story until later.

My apostrophe was groped at The White House reception when I was sixteen.

I've been traumatised ever since !

Mike Gordon built bridges behind the scenes with the Southampton owner Ralph Krueger over the summer to such an extent that it allowed Van Dijkís future to be raised again before deadline day. (Paul Joyce)

The answer remained that the player was not for sale. (Paul Joyce)

This is positive in regards to January or next summer I guess.

It will be really interesting to see if we do any business in January.

VVD would be attractive as he would not be cup-tied for any European competition, but difficult to see any other top CB moving in January.

BREAKING: Mauricio Pochettino confirms Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld will be out until the New Year with hamstring injury. #SSN

Big blow for Spurs that. Alderweireld has been a rock at the back for them for a couple of years now. I guess Dier will move into the back three, with Winks alongside Dembele/Sissoko.

It is if the price isn’t rudiculous.
I’m a little concerned we are looking for Van Dijk no matter what the cost, there’s a very good argument that we could sign two equally good centre backs for the price being touted for him. He isn’t Maldini and the way it’s going expectation is going to be massive if and when he signs.
