    Is it?

    Are you sure?

Fresno also had some really good ideas for sustainability within his 'Venus' project.

Yes I'm absolutely sure. But then as I said - this is a thread on the iPhone. However - you only need to travel the world to see the impact of an unsustainable populace. Clickbait projects don't do it for me!

This is Apple though, not some cheap soap dispenser manufacturer using old remote control infra-red parts. I'm guessing the 3D mapping from FaceID will be a bit more advanced than a simple 'waiting for the light to bounce back' type job.

I know its about the I-phone. I see the want/need for the latest shiny gadget as a bit of an issue to sustainability going forward...hence my take on it.

As for the rest I can only assume you are unaware of Fresno and the Venus Project?

Unless of course you believe 'clickbait' projects existed in the 60's?

Do you know how big Australia is?

Is the following true or a clickbait project that doesn't do it for you? :-

Australian land mass = 2.97 million square miles breaks down to 1,900,800,000 acres which then converts down to 7,603,200,000 quarter acre blocks of land. So we could hypothetically give every person in the world a quarter acre block of land and they would all fit into an area the size of Australia.

Have a SE (had it since earlier this year). I may upgrade to a 7 at some point but i like my SE and def wouldnt upgrade to the X.

i rather think optimum design has been reached and was sometime ago. Evidence now that apart from a few obsessives people are not changing phones as often now. I do mine 2nd hand and sell old handset that way too and go sim only.
I'm the same, I have an SE and apart from not having that much memory I am more than fine with it. I can phone, use whatsapp/text and use the internet. There isn't much more I need a phone to do. Facial recognition is just a massive waste of time.

    Shocking.

    Not surprising though.

When the phone function of a phone is based upon an App then perhaps the device is no longer really a phone?

That's what phones are moving towards. That's essentially the plan. A phone that isnt a phone anymore.
