Went on BBC this morning to look at something and saw that some comment by journeyman footballer Chris Sutton about Klopp apparently warrants not only an article but also subject to comments

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41314073

Surprisingly only 318 comments at present, but they pulled the same stunt over Coutinho not being in a match squad although that comments section is no longer apparent.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40924202

Neither really deserved an article/page let alone comments, makes me think maybe BBC have become stirrers of digested and expelled food.

Wow - you need to come out of your protective shell

The world is full of opinions

And some maybe different to yours....

Some of those rumours will be true, some soundbites, some clickbait....

But at the end of the day - you read, digest and evaluate

Sutton is a tool but he is right by some strange happening - I know coz I said it we will win nothing with this setup, too defensively open

Coutinho - as we are not a destination club anymore, we are a selling club.....And until we start winning, we will remain a selling club

So not surprised at the Coutinho and Mane stories

Wow - you need to stop making assumptions and talking nonsense. I have no "protective shell", just questioning the motivations of a media source that makes something out of relative non-stories. Those are akin to gossip type stories they don't make articles out of because there's little substance.

Wow shocker, you and someone you consider a "tool" agreeing........... Funny that.

It's a non-story, feeding on a comment Klopp made and then made into a public spectacle. I opened up that to a discussion in an appropriate place, a discussion forum, rather than making it a story open to the world then getting the kids who frequent their comments section after the death of the 606 forums like a plague.

You'd fit in there neatly, go for it.

That Sutton piece is hilarious in its unashamed stupidity.

He didn't understand something Klopp said so he asked his mate, Wrighty, and he didn't get it either - so he wrote an article about it to tell everyone. And the BBC printed it.

    Classic.

Yea I mean once the bbc starts reporting it, it's almost a signal for everyone to bandwagon. They've got a high responsibility as a mainstream news outlet- it's a hard job keeping everyone happy. we're human we cause suffering inadvertently and cause joy unintentionally too for some reason, I sympathize with you though. Best way not to give rise to it is just to ignore (whenever stirring or an agenda takes place).

Garth Crooks put Matip in his 'Team of the Week' this week.

    There's no agenda.

It's embarrassing, obviously he was talking about the fans not the players, and who the **** is Sutton to be going around mouthing off anyway? When are these channels going to learn that being an ex player (even more so a distinctly average one) does not automatically mean you make a good pundit? We have the likes of Sutton, Savage, Phil Neville, etc. constantly sharing their unwanted and uninteresting opinions, with a combined IQ of about 75 :FP:

Anyone care to summarise what Klopp is supposed to have said, or where he said it? I saw the headline this morning and couldn't have been arsed reading it.

I watched his presser and the headline didn't ring a bell.

    It's just funny though man.

I mean, the comments were questionable anyway - but instead of discussing the validity of what he said and meant you've got 2 idiots completely missing the point, basically just shouting about how thick they are.

And this is the best the BBC has to offer.

I love the headlines they give the articles too, pure clickbait, this one is 'Klopp clutching at straws' - stated like fact and no mention of Sutton. They did the same with Jenas talking about Coutinho, and it was the main article too, think it was headlined 'Liverpool must sell Coutinho' or something. :FP:

    2 questions:

1 - What truth would that be?

2 - How are you allowed that username?

Not sure what's wrong with that article? That seems like a standard page for the Web 2.0 gen to me.

It's like saying "did you hear what X said? Discuss.."

It's pathetic for sure that that's considered 'journalism', but it isn't unusual.

All these stories require is a manager being asked a question-

For example, a reporter asks Klopp if Liverpool have plans to sign Messi, and Klopp laughs it off and says no.

Headline: Klopp denies Liverpool plans to sign Messi.

    It's a comedy show.
