Yeah that is true. Rework the back and then it's time to look at the midfield too.

Clichy. But his wages were too high. And Mendy, but FSG were put off by the price. (just kidding)

don't remember any rumour of Clichy to us although Mendy was strongly linked, could have been a great signing.

Fortunately Karius is our CL keeper

    Can't form a triangle without 1 corner right? 😝

That's not a good analogy. If you drop a ball into the Bermuda Triangle, the ball gets lost. With us, the Triangle gets lost and the ball ends up in the net.

All LFC players on field will vanish into the triangle once the ball is goal-wards bound.

FSG don't have to spend 200 million on the defense for our problems to go away, we don't need lavish centre backs like Sule, Boeteng and VVD, just bring in good defenders and coach them into top ones, like they have done at Spurs.
How do you know that alternatives weren't sought out? Like I said, do you think a manager of Klopp's calibre would have been content to go into the new season with 3 senior CB's? The fact is that we don't know what happens backstage and in all likeliness Klopp was given assurances that the VVD deal would be done. If those promises were broken then that's not on him. People are so quick to assume that he didn't consider alternatives. A man who's broken Bayern Munich's quasi monopoly on the German league twice, who's reached both a champions league and a europa league final, is likely super unhappy to go into a new season with Matip, Klavan and Lovren. It's the transfer committees responsibility to get the deals he wants done, done. They have let him down and if we let him go, we are absolutely and truly beyond any help.
