I think Fowi's post was quite apt. He mentioned about Ox now making it as our third sub.

As long as he meant 'third player TO BE substituted', I am fine with that.

I think with coutinho, Firmino, and salah we will be fine up front. My concern ain’t about Mane! Im worried about the unfair match up between Lukaku, and Lovren & Matip. Those two are going to get bullied big time.

Agree with most. What a messed up season this is turning out to be, and we are only in October.

Yeah that's probably something to cling onto despite only looking convincing in one game.

Injuries are part and parcel of the game. If we can't cope with an injury, even to a star/key player then that is a weakness of the squad.
Everyone has to deal with internationals, not just us.

At least we can look forward to a long long extended run of Henderson, Can and Wijnaldum in midfield.

And we only won one game in the whole month of September!! And we have only won once in the last 7 games. We are having a fantastic season according to your little spin.

    It's not messed up yet

But the next few games are vitally important and going to be a lot harder now for sure

    .

Who gives a toss about "CONVINCING"? who are we trying to convince?. All that matters is a win.

Some people just love the negativity, it makes them feel better.

On our day we can beat anyone. Bring on Utd.

He’s running apparently so I’d hope he will be back before the end of the month

Of course 3 points is all that matters but we've looked shaky and failed to put teams away as well. Yeah bring them on!

I remember when Suarez missed the first 8 games of 13-14 the moaning here was incredible. We won't make top ten, Henderson is useless, Moses a hack, who is the Aspas idiot and so on. We ended up 2nd and should have won the title. Suarez aside, this is an immensely better squad than 13-14 with a better manager. Mane is a loss and I am really over these *********** international breaks. But there is not much we can do about it and hopefully we get Lallana back soon. Some of you are in serious need of some chill pills though. And if we do beat the filth, some of you please refrain from getting over excited when so much negativity has been sprouted over the last fortnight.

Was anyone watching the game and if so when did he actually sustain the injury? Why in the world was he still playing at 89 minutes when 2-0 up.

If we don't see Ox now he might as well pack his bags.

It was 1-0 when he went off, Cheikh Ndoye, who replaced Mane, scored the 2nd in the 89th minute.

Not that it matters really, he's injured, it happens.

That is the thought that is currently crippling my soul.

Please don't Jurgen. I'd rather keep Phil in midfield and give Chamberlain or Woodburn a try on the wing, or maybe play with 10.

That's a good thing as it will give him much needed minutes to get match fitness.

"Until now, he has just been doing some individual training - running in straight lines - but from next week, he is going to train harder and start working with the ball," added former Birmingham City midfielder Cisse.
So he is not really injured then?
