Lovren to definitely start. JK won't leave him out. Put money on it. Only saying this as the manager seems to see absolutely nothing wrong with him.

    So Southampton

Somewhat a bogey team of late - since the 6-1 win in the League Cup, early in Klopp's arrival, we have lost 3 and drawn 2 of the last 5 games against them
A team that Klopp doesn't have the answer too

And we have scored only 2 goals in those 5 games, the last 4 we have failed to find the net

However, if we can win a third game in a row in the league, it will be the first time in 12 months we will of managed this, with three points on Saturday.

Didn't we win four games on the bounce at the back off last season? Only a few months ago?

It seems we used all our goals in that 6-1 thrashing two years ago. Under Pellegrino their defence isn't as tight compared to Puel but they still can't score, I'm confident we'll put an end to recent results against them.

    ------------------Mignolet
    Gomez------Matip------Klavan------Moreno
    -----------------Emre Can
    ---------Henderson------Chamberlain
    -------Salah------Firmino------Coutinho

Subs: Karius, Lovren, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Grujic, Sturridge, Solanke

I've given up on putting Ward and Robertson in my teams because it becomes more and more unlikely we'll see them play (probably until FA Cup weekend). I'd still rather see them instead of Mignolet and Moreno with Matip and Gomez at centre back but hey ho.

Yes until Clyne is back from injury or January when hopefully we'll get new centre backs.

I think for this game we may need Gomez as a CB pairing with Matip and TAA as RB to nullify the pace from Boufal, Redmond and possibly Long. The right answer to Tadic could be Milner instead of Moreno unless Klopp has promised Milner never to play him at LB. Tadic is not quick but his strength, guile and composure will be too much for Moreno.

In almost all of their last 6 games (according to whoscored.com), they have dominated possession home and away (except Brighton). They play a very good passing game and they are very good at stealing the ball in midfield thanks to Romeu who has become an expert at breaking up play. Teams who were direct were successful at getting wins against them recently (Utd, Stoke and Burnley) so our midfield play should be more direct and aggressive if we are to beat this Saints side. Most of the successful attack seems to have come on their left side so we should exploit whatever weaknesses exist on that side.

This is another game where we should register a win although we had a wretched record after international breaks and against this side recently. 2-0 will be great and sets us up well for the midweek CL game.

Yes, you certainly are Mouldi - and I mean that sincerely. I actually acknowledged your post/clip with thanks at 1916hrs yesterday. I think you also saw that I had asked the Mods a question about being able to track replies?

Anything other than a win would be a real bummer.

I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of a reshuffle in midfield and a start for Sturridge just to get away from the norm of coming back from the international break looking lethargic and pedestrian in our play.

    Mingolet
    Gomez Matip Klavan Moreno
    Milner Ox
    Lallana
    Salah Sturridge Coutinho

Don't think Lallana is fit is he?

Southampton are becoming how West Brom were with us for a few seasons. We need to smash them in the first 30 minutes or it could be another frustrating afternoon
