    A 3 o' clock kick off! Honest!

    Next up, Southampton at home.

Off the back of back to back wins (Hudds and Hammers) we go into this one on good form. Players should be available are Coutinho and Lallana for this one. Good to have Mane back too. I feel like our season can kick off from here onwards.

    Lets do this! YNWA

Someone just quietly put a Liverpool jersey on VvD during a corner, and no one really say anything about it.

We still miss Lallana and I would like to see the OX used in Lallana's position in his abscence. I do think he is ready for regular starts. It is a home game and we need points, I hope we can continue our revival.

I was joking. But agree, that we need to keep pace until the Winter madness. We seem to be a stronger 2nd half team the past few seasons, so if we can remain up top, we can put ourselves in a good position come april/may.

We've managed to move the last 3, bring it on I say.

    Last five in this fixture:
    Liverpool 0-0 Southampton (PL, 2016/17)
Liverpool 0-1 Southampton (EFL Cup SF 2nd Leg, 2016/17)
    Liverpool 1-1 Southampton (PL, 2015/16)
    Liverpool 2-1 Southampton (PL, 2014/15)
    Liverpool 0-1 Southampton (PL, 2013/14)

Bit of a patchy record at home to the Saints, they don't look as dangerous under Pellegrino and they have also been very inconsistent.

I think it will be the same team that started against West Ham (barring injuries sustained on international duty), hopefully Lallana is fit to make the squad.

Hopefully we have an injury free international break and then we can start to build some momentum later this month.

That 2 nil up loss from a couple of seasons back still haunts me.

Thankfully the culprit plays for us now.

We really owe their net a bagful of goals after last season when we played them 4 times and didn't score in any of them, Milner's missed penalty at Anfield being the final insult.

The way we've been playing lately suggests that we should run out easy winners of this one.

Patience could again be a virtue in this match. 0-0 at half time followed by two or three goals in the second half is my prediction.

They will play like their lives depended on it, fueled by their hatred and anger!

We MUST destroy, break and humble them first - if we show ANY signs of weakness during the first 30mins or so then they’ll rally the troops and grow in confidence.

Lop their heads off I say! (figuratively ofcourse).

We never seem to play well after an international break, it's like the players forget what Klopp has been teaching them.
