    nah,

Loris has fulfilled some compelling displays in UCL as called to the duty latterly,

don't see why Mr Klopp shouldn't give him a further chance and keep all our bunch of keepers on their toes and ready to challenge one another,

I would stick with our gaffer plan of giving Loris a starting berth yet again,

reliable as a sweeper keeper, in the outings and between the sticks,

he owns even the one off save in his locker when he turns up,

and in the recent times he never betrayed the faith Mr Klopp has put in him in the UCL appointments,

    keep it up Loris!

Given our superb form in the last 10 games i'm extremely confident for this one and expect we'll get the win in really good fashion due to that.

However, this is us in Europe and at Anfield, when have we ever done things easy?

2-0 to Spartak at half time and a storming 2nd half towards the KOP and we win 4-2, the place is rocking, certainly wouldn't be a surprise.

Truly though, i expect a comfortable win as our confidence is sky high and they won't cope with our quality, they need to attack and win too which will only play in to our hands for those counter attacks.

Early goal and a routine 3 or 4-0 will do Redmen..

I am convinced that Sturridge starts either this game or against Everton.

it'd be better we play him against the toffies, mate,

which have a more scrambled defence beside Spartak,

Studge is latterly specialized in empty net goals indeed,

Talking about 4 - 0, am I right that we need to get beat by at least four goals to get knocked out tonight ?

It's not head to heads or anything daft overriding goal difference is it ?

It is head to head, so lose and we're out.

    And the game is tomorrow.

The last time we played Spartak in Moscow, they apparently had 6 of their regular first team players missing and they still got a draw. We need to beat them to be assured of going through. I think we will.

Karius probably has some agreement with Klopp regarding Champions' League appearances.

Not that I'm a fan of Mignolet. In fact, I'd like to see Karius getting a run of games just so that we have a better idea of his worth (ability - not money!).

They may score the one from a gift, but we’ll be putting 4 or 5 past these tomorrow.

No, if we lose then Spartak go through on the head to head.

We could still go through though if Sevilla don't beat Maribor, but that is unlikely you would think.

Win or draw and we don't need to rely on Maribor causing an upset.

A draw is fine for us also, the pressure is on them and what they have to do plays right into our hands anyway.

    yep, mate, massive recoveries,

    big big game tomorrow night,

    we can't fluff it,

a win would be a massive definitive boost for the season and in sight of next weekend crunchy derby game,

I'm itching for both the rubbers,

but of course, let's take a game at a time,

The virus around Melwood is gone, which is unfortunate for poorly old Spartak.

Rag the Viking Klavan and Joe the lone Wolf Gómez is back.

Now where the **** is Adam

    let Adam be, mate,

he needs time to get back to full fitness all the way,

don't think he's been struck by a virus to debilitate him tbf,

I think in stead Mr Klopp is going to reintegrate him step by step in the group after a long time on the sidelines,

tomorrow night game is such a cracking appointment that I think it's too early to see him around the eighteens called up,

there will be surely several options on the bench actually with a better match fitness,

    cheers,

    Well this is shocking news
Not that we're playing tomorrow, obviously. I was just getting ahead of myself.

So this is a real pressure game then. I'm expecting to see a tougher mentality going into this one, than has been evident in the past with our current crop.
Allowing for the pressure consequences of losing, any sort of a win will be sure evidence of progress I feel

    That's not true is it?

In that scenario we finish level on point with Sevilla, 9 points, Spartak also on 9 points.

It then goes on head to head between all 3 of us. Spartak finish top as they'll beat us over 2 legs, and also Sevilla over 2 legs.

We finish 2nd due to the away goals as we got 3 to Sevilla's 2 in the 5-5 aggregate scoreline.

Maybe i've missed something, but that is how i've got it in the scenario of Spartak winning and Sevilla only drawing, even GD is in our favour over Sevilla too if it came to that first and level on points.

If Spartak win and we lose...Sevilla go out...unless they win.

A loss for us and a draw for Seville sees us still go through.

I think LJOC is correct. It would go into a mini-leage between the 3 of us and we'd be third in that and hence, wouldn't qualify.

    Yeh, that's what i thought.

Let's just continue our excellent current form and smash Spartak, at the very least not lose to a team that nearly always struggles outside of Russia...

    That's wrong mate.

It's on pure head to heads.

Spartak would have a better record against us and Seville.

And we have a better head to head v Seville.

It's no longer the old system where they remove the 4th teams results from the table.

I think Darren is wrong to be honest.

In those rules we go all the way down to number 4 with Sevilla and that is where we are separated and we go through above them.

I'm pretty sure it goes to one on one, head to head...not a 3 way mini league.

There isn't actually such thing as a 3 way head to head.
