Making the long trip up for this 1 in what is the most important game of our season, absolute must not lose game....anything else will be enough to see us through, winning will ensure we top the group.

2 in form sides and I fancy Spartak will come with a game plan to frustrate and nick it late..they'll have few key players back that were missing from first game...most noticeably Promes.

Expect there to be 1 or 2 changes from tonight...something like...

Karius Gómez Klavan Lovren Moreno Can Wijnaldum Coutinho Mane Salah Firmino

Mignolet Trent Milner Solanke Sturridge Robertson Oxlade-Chamberlain

If I offered you a place in the Europa league final at least now, would you take it?

Even if we lose we still qualify in 2nd (unless we lose by 4). im not too fussed about finishing 2nd either as there are still very good teams who didnt top their group.
Id rest a bunch of players and go for something like this:

    ------------------------------karius---------------------------------
    TAA------------Lovren----------------Klavan----------Robertson
    ---------------------- Hendo----------------------------------
    ------- Wijnaldum--------------- Ox-------------------
    Sturridge------------ Solanke-------------Mane

Sturridge obv wouldnt play as a natural winger but he needs game time.
Robertsoon was good yesterday, would like to see him in again.
Rest Bobby and Coutinho, Solanke is a talent and this game would do him the world of good.

After this, I believe we can go full strength in the derby as everybody will have had a solid rest

Lose and we are out on head to head, presuming Sevilla beat Maribor

Nope. For example, if us & Spartak were on equal points, they could finish above us with a score draw above 1-1.
No deal, no dice. Shot at and missed, **** on and hit.

Such a shame we didn't hold out 10 more seconds against sevilla, we could of played the kids in this and have everyone ready for the derby.

Ah well, massive 2 weeks coming up, spartak (h) everton (h) west brom (h) and Bournemouth (a) win all of them and then a draw at the emirates before xmas is perfect.

Oh my god we haven't been in the Champions League proper since 2010.

Massive game. Bricking it a little.

need to rotate our squad but anyway line up a very competitive eleven,

    as far as I'm concerned:

    (4-1-4-1)

    Karius

    Gomez
    Lovren
    Klavan
    Moreno

    Can
    Wjinaldum
    AOC

    Salah
    Solanke
    Manč

As subs: Mig, TAA, Milner, Henderson, Coutinho, Firmino, Sturridge,

let's put the things right as soon as we can, otherwise let's bring on our trump cards from the bench at the restart to give the game a definitive steer,

Spartak will set up their rubber to frustrate our attacks, hit us on the break sporadically, and exploit any single offensive episode,

we will have to be aware of their offensive threat and being alert at the back, though the game will be likely at most played one way traffic,

I wouldn't be pleased to finish the group at the second spot, I want us winning this game and top the group!

let's give it all, put the body on the line if needed, and tuck them in three goals without no appeal!!

    C'MON YOU MIGHTY REDS!!!

Probably 5-6 changes again. Karius, Moreno, Gomez, Klavan, Ox and Mane to come back.

Wouldn't be surprised if Sturridge got a start too. Home game with a lot of the ball.

Starting XI: Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Klavan, Moreno, Henderson, Can, Coutinho, Mane, Firmino, Salah

Subs: Mignolet, Gomez, Milner, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Solanke, Sturridge

I think that Jurgen might persist with Trent at RB and start with Gomez at RB against Everton. Klopp will want to kill the game off early against Spartak, which will enable him to make early substitutions and give a breather to some of his best players. Taking this into account, I think Trent can cause more damage in the final third than Joe.

Can had a good game against Brighton so his confidence will be up. And it's for that reason that I'll put him ahead of Gini in the starting line up. Despite putting in two or three poor performances in a row, I expect that Henderson will retain his place in the side.

Up top, I would be tempted to rest Bobby and bring in Sturridge. As tonylet mentioned above, we'll have a lot of the ball on Wednesday and I'm sure the likes of Sadio, Phillips and Mo would create plenty of goalscoring opportunities for Daniel. Sturridge should be fresh too, as he hasn't gotten any minutes in our last couple of matches.

Agree Bewds, the whole reason for rotation was for this game imo, we need our strongest team possible. Lets qualify for the next round, first or second it don't matter.

Very important game this one where we should play as close to full strength as possible...

    Karius

    Arnold - Lovren - Klavan - Moreno

    Wijnaldum - Emre - Coutinho

    Salah - Firmino - Mane

Subs: Mignolet, Robertson, Gomez, Henderson, Chamberlain, Solanke, Sturridge

Studge is in my opinion unaccountable as a goal poacher though, Solanke is more dynamic and offer more options at the top end of the field, further to be more productive

assist wise and a reliable outlet on our offensive front, reason why I'd rest Bobby and give Dom a cracking opportunity to make another statement of intent at such a young age,

Salah, Solanke and Manč being my favourite attacking front for next Wednesday night Anfield decider,

    cheers,

Yeah. I think Solanke has lots of promise and I wouldn't be averse to him starting on Wednesday. However, I think Jurgen will plump for Sturridge if Bobby is rested.

I actually think Solanke offers more than Sturridge based on what I’ve seen this month
