really? I'm really happy for them, both very promising, specially Adam Lewis who is likely knocking on the U23 team door,

Conor Masterson already belongs to our U23 establishment,

Cracking first half, 2-0 and it could of been 4

Woodburn seems to be getting turned into some kind of midfield lynch pin, everything goes through him. Not sure he has the pace to play as he was further forward.

Brewster is going to be some player if he keeps this progression up, not just quick but strong, clever feet and great movement

he's a massive talent, skillfull and creative, he's almost the ideal offensive n°10,

I think him also could soon be involved around our U23 surrounding,

first time i saw him thought he was a striker and wrote him off. watched him several times since then as a mid and he's not to bad. certainly a talented prospect but no idea how far he will go at minute.

Yeah, probably next season for him, the 23s are packed with midfielders right now but players like Ejaria, Virtue and Branagan are getting to the point where they need to progress from the 23s

Curtis Jones has plenty of quality, keeps the ball nicely, always available and gets forward to scores goals too. Look forward to watching him grow.

maybe before next season, plenty of the mini lads you quote are on their way out for a spell on loan from january,

so that that might open an opportunity for some of our U19s,

Lewis shot saved after a little row between Ben Woodburn and the Spartak keeper upon a strong outing of the last on Benny,

Brewster has just missed a great chance to make it 3-0, mind. Set Adekanye away and then arrived onto the return. Deflected wide.

Game a bit scrappy second half from a Liverpool perspective.

not that bad, still creating chances just need a better final ball.

Kane is really impressive. Slightly under the radar with the more 'flashy' names but there's a player to watch there.

With a trip to Manchester United at the weekend, Curtis Jones makes way and is replaced by Liam Millar.

Another fine save from Grabara with a his legs, again to deny Rudenko. He really is a talent, the #LFC keeper.

Edvard ‘Eddie’ Sadvik Tagseth replaces Herbie Kane.

The diminutive Norwegian is described as a ‘pocket battleship.’

    Last switch for Gerrard

A third and final sub for Liverpool as Elijah Dixon-Bonner comes on for Bobby Adekanye.

certainly has the potential to be a number one though might be too early for him, its possible give or take a season if he keeps progressing as he is.

Said the other day, his feet are amazing but the final ball is often lacking. I'd like to see him shoot a bit more!

A header from substitute Millar is deflected just wide from Woodburn’s free-kick.
