True but then in his defence, that child had a very kickable face

That I can forgive, it was when he curled one out on the pitch at full time, alla the Sunderland fan, that I think MAY have gone too far. Especially when he etched the words 'Barca' in it with a stick....I mean to carry a stick on the pitch and hide it during play is a flagrant disregard for health & safety

True. But he was smiling while he was doing it so I figured he was trying to say he loves Jurgen Klopp and wants to spoon with him. That's what his body language told me anyway.

True. And that kid shouldn't have put his face in the front of his head like that. Total breach of Health & Safety regs.

Liverpool with Coutinho, Firmino, Mané and Salah on the pitch together:
    281 minutes.
    12 goals scored.
    Goal every 23 minutes.

    Scary stuff this.

The fact that people are making a point of interpreting it is nonsense and a complete waste of time. Are we going to analyze every facial expression people make now too? How about the pace with which they walk on and off the pitch?

it is. i am sure that many managers/analysts have been aware of what lfc can do from an attacking pov for a few seasons now so its nothing new and are probably scratching thier heads on how to combat it. its not the same as just popping a ball down the wing to a wide player to pop a cross in - the one touch pass and move can cut through any defence.

Just watched the game & the the main thing I took from it was I don't think it was a complete performance, was great to watch though. I still think we can go up a cog & that's a pretty scary thought.
Let's just hope the boys don't dine out on this performance & let points slip on Sunday.
Geez our front four are fantastic, absolutely brilliant.

Even Gerrard remarked on Hendo being dropped... and it wasn’t that he was being rested. Klopp did the right thing.

Klopp said this was THE Game of the season, and emphasised "THE". So, in his mind, this was the most important game of the season, and his 2 controlling MFs were Can & Wijnaldum. Given that Can is likely going, that's some indictment on the 2 other fully fit options on the bench (Henderson, Milner). He was'nt going to rotate for this game (that was Firmino's 3rd straight start - only person last night with that stat), so his selection was what he considers his best. Imo, that was our best available front 6 playing last night, one that I've been hoping to see more regularly.

Klopp likes Henderson, but not in crunch games. In the run to the Europa final & the final itself (when he was available), Henderson played little or no part. He was also fit enough to run around in the last month of last season (which Henderson himself alluded to), but Klopp had no desire to call on him for during that month.

Despite glorious result and some world class performances I have to be honest...
When they we’re attacking us I had a constant grip in the stomach..I felt we were vulnerable and were giving spaces for them to explore. It is not negativity...I would just preferred we scored 4 goals less in exchange for defensive compactness.
Klopp still has the same equation to solve. VVD is even more vital for us now and some inspiration from The manager with regards to overall defensive structure or at minimum a plan to make specific changes to change shape and lock games where we lead by more than 1 goals

ye i do agree with you , still not 100% calm, it was 4-0 before i calmed down. just need to somehow plug those gaps in between defence and midfield

An amazing game and a deserving result, top of the group and into the next round. And it makes such a difference watching a game when you're not worried about errors being made and the subsequent 'squeaky bum time' wondering whether we'll still qualify or not as has happened in previous seasons.

It was a total joy to watch, and to be honest the chubb I got from the game has only just subsided and I had to look at the Wife to make it go down.

Hoping for a similar game & result against Neverton on Sunday.
