He is out until New Year. He hasn't cost us like in previous seasons so far but he is still the same player waiting to bust out. Although his defensive game has improved a bit, offensively his game hasn't improved. He has no assists or goals in the premier league.Overall he has been OK this season. Also Robertson has played really well each time he's played.

He scored a couple of prem goals for us, one when he first came here against Spurs. I am sure he has an assist. (or you purely talking about THIS season)

Blimey… Moreno discussions now warrant a second thread - first one closed after 100 pages of 'he's not really good enough.'

    Well…

    He's not really good enough.

    You said it.......

You said it here, probably a few times in the old thread as did lots of other people, does it bear repeating ad nauseam though (not a dig at you, more why have the same old same old like in many threads going round and round in circles?!?!?)

Is a bit bizarre some want to see some kind of new Moreno, as if he's suddenly something now he wasn't then. But as I have said in recent weeks, isn't this the same rhetoric we were reading about Johnson a few years back....?

Shouldn't have ignored the £11m bid for him, if that wasn't just media talk

Think that was true as most of the media outlets reported that.
We demanded £15m for him and no one came back after that.

Well, he won't be playing for a while, so there'll be no fresh incidents on the pitch to cause further discussion in that direction.

Yes, indeed. So many threads just regurgitate the same thoughts and responses over and over.

I've just become ever so tired of banging on and on about the lack of proper strength in the defence (Shut that sodding back door etc)… one just feels like giving up on the point, sometimes.… and then someone posts a point, we respond with the necessary knee-jerk reaction… and we're off on the roundabout once more.

This is a "Let's take a swipe at Moreno" thread, and try to build up Robertson while the player in questiion has a misfortune of getting injured.

Why start a new thread just to do that? And people are joining in the chorus....

Wish you a quick recocery Alberto.

Agreed. Felt really sorry for him the other day, you could see it meant a lot to him.

It’s really not a great sign when the threads about your keepers and defenders are the most popular ones.

Why? Maybe people are just eager to lavish them with praise?
