Hope we can beat them. It will be a morale booster for our players and it will put a dent in the Citee run. I would like us to take the honor of the first team to end their unbeatern run

Draw or loss, same thing to an extent. Beating them and ending their perfect season and getting 3 points off them when nobody else can? Perfect.

I’d say that’s a spot on first 11, hopefully Sturridge on the bench too if he’s fit enough.

I think we have a great chance to beat them and end their unbeaten run...they haven’t looked close to as good in the last month as they did before.Going for a 3-1 win!

Same line up I would choose, but Milner will probably start in place of Wij or Can.

I'd want the win and more for our own purposes than any accolade (of being first to beat them) and morale boosters.

We need to put enough wins in the unbeaten run to try and pull away from the jackals behind us. It's a nice unbeaten run, but cementing that top four place is a priority in my book and wins, wins and more wins do it and even though it is the side top of the league, unbeaten at that, dropped points would be dropped points and opportunity for sides to close the gap.

Also would help put pressure on the teams above, no doubt we'll drop more points during the rest of the season against sides we anticipate we might and some we don't. Picking up what you might consider bonus points in tricky fixtures helps restore some balance

Yeah, I think so too. Maybe a midfield of Can, Milner and Ox.
Possibly Lallana instead of Ox, but Lallana might be better off the bench if needed.

Sturridge, though back in training is unlikely to be fit enough to start.

Important that we don't have a meltdown on here if City win tomorrow ...

Many fans are probably ready to unleash some anger over the Phil transfer at the first sign of failure ... but with or without him City have a great chance of beating us.

This is one game where we all just need to go with the flow, have fun, and hope for the best ... We CAN beat them ... but if don't we just dust ourselves off and move on.

There shouldn’t be a meltdown if we lose to City of course.

Being defeated by anybody needs discussion and of course we lose tomorrow Phil’s departure will be discussed. I’m sure if we win tomorrow the opposite will happen with people saying TOLD YOU we didn’t need Phil. Can work both ways with people going OTT.

The long term is where it’s at but a win tomorrow would be a massive statement but still only 3 points.

Not liking the rumours that Karius May start. Really don’t rate the kid and even though Migs isn’t perfect he’s a better keeper overall.
