Been a frustrating 6 months no doubt for big Dom.

Hopefully now won't be too long before he's off the mark in a red shirt but when do you think itll come? Off the back of a sub appearance when we're already 3 up? Or a winner as a starter in the CL?

I'll go with Swansea away in few weeks

Champions League Final 20 mins into extra time. In off his unaware arse putting us 1-0 up against Real Madrid. Scenes as Ronaldo cries into Ramos’ bosom.

Crouch was about 18 games wasn’t he ?

My bet is Solanke as a sub, CL QF 2nd leg, last 10 with us already 25-0 up against Barcelona

Not a goal threat yet. One thing about Origi when he started was that his overall game was hit and miss, but he could bag a goal.

    He'll get one soon.

He's trying hard, maybe too hard, and then it becomes even harder. Once he gets one, in off his backside or whatever, the pressure drops and his belief grows. He's shown some good skills & understanding in his cameos for a young kid at a big club, he just needs a goal.

Nothing to worry about, he's at the right club to develop.

Actually didn't take either of them very long but they were far more experienced players than Solanke.

Barcelona away next season. Hat trick as we come from 2-0 down to Suarez and Coutinho goals, to win 3-2.

Will never make it at Liverpool. cant understand why we bought him. Does not fit into the way Klopp wants the team to play. Comes on but wanders all over the line instead of getting into the area to receive crosses. With his height we should swing in a more crosses but he never seams to be in the right position for a cross.

Is this thread still going? I correctly answered the question above. No further speculation required.

He should have like 3 goals already, no idea how they didn't go in.

I am not encouraged for his prospects by what I have seen. He's getting game time only because Sturridge can't get fit. If and when Daniel can string some games together, Dom's chance may be gone.

He's had chances. Good chances. He just wasn't clinical. But he'd need to miss a lot more chances before I start writing him off. But he definitely needs to really take them soon if he wants to make an impact.

    City this Sunday

Last minute of injury time winner in front of the Kop after coming on for last 10 minutes after Bobby has ran himself into the ground.

    Cue mass celebrations

Would be nice if he came on as sub and got the winner against City , but to be honest, for me, he really has never even looked like scoring , and he's had quit a few chances . He's a big unit that does not put himself about enough , hes not really quick enough either . He really should be in the goals by now , he gets into good positions and then seems to freeze with out having too much idea of what to do next .
I had high hopes for this bloke and still have but he need to pull his figure out and start repaying the confidence Klopp has had in him

Crouch waited for longer (in terms of mins on the pitch) for his first goal and he was far more experienced.

He was bought for the u23s but played himself into the squad in the summer. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be patient with him. Everton game aside, he’s looked a great part of our fluid attack when coming on. He just needs a bit of luck to break his duck.

I’m pretty sure the likes of Harry Kane were doing nothing at the same age. Patience.

Anfield- Sunday Jan 14th. Winning header in the 87th minute against just another run-of-the-mill PL opponent.
