Well a visit rom West Brom on the cards for the next round of the FA cup , My worst fears are that Klopp has another brain fade and does what Aresen Wenger did against Notts Forrest ?? field a second string team and finish up losing , in fact they didn't deserve to win as they where simply just not good enough . Klopp has history of doing exactly the same last season playing all the kids and getting us knocked out of a cup ????
We now have a massive squad all supposedly top notch , so lets hope he fields the STONGEST TEAM AVAILABLE so we can at least challenge for something this season , it would be nice to be in a final for a change ??? The team deserves it !!!YNWA

    Itís almost ideal.

Theyíre focused on staying up, Anfield isnít as big a deal for them and most importantly they canít come here hoping for a draw.

To be honest, an away cup game against minnows is far more dangerous prospect than a home tie with PL strugglers, see Arsenal in FA and United in Carabao. So, I believe we have a better draw than United.

just one lower league outfit per year,

United are used to be coupled with minnows two three times any edition of the FA Cup,

the shameless luck United have is all that, mate!

and sorry if I contradict some one on this thread,

but I prefer facing a fourth tier minnow on their turf ten times than taking on whatever top flight outfit at our home in this competition,

we weren't neither able to beat them in an ordinary EPL game, and not even scoring a single goal,

so that speaks volume about the threat we are likely going to take on, mate,

and sorry if I'm sincerely blunt, mate!

Looking at the draw and trying to work out which games will be live

    Liverpool v West Brom

    Peterborough v Fleetwood/Leicester

    Huddersfield v Birmingham

    Notts County v Wolves/Swansea

    Yeovil v Manchester United

    Carlisle/Sheffield Wednesday v Stevenage/Reading

    Cardiff/Mansfield v Manchester City

    MK Dons v Coventry

    Millwall v Rochdale

    Southampton v Watford

    Middlesbrough v Brighton

    Bournemouth/Wigan v Shrewsbury/West Ham

    Hull v Nottingham Forest

    Newport County v Tottenham

    Norwich/Chelsea v Newcastle

    Sheffield United v Preston
Man U have to be on live seeing as they weren't last round, the first time in 12 years that has happened

Newport v Spurs will be another, maybe Chelsea v Newcastle as well? Cardiff/Mansfield v Manchester City?

    How many will there be?

It was 7 in the 3rd round...including Newport v Leeds which was just on BBC Wales...so maybe 6.

TBH ours could make TV, our game against Swansea was somehow chosen for boxing day coverage after all

The FA Cup doesn't matter to them. They won the 'undeservedly nicking a draw at Anfield' trophy back in December.

    Merseyside is, unfortunately, blue.

    Mostly Red.

Late kick-off for a Saturday night that...atmosphere should be good though.

I can tell you the FA Cup is most certainly important and Merseyside is nowhere near blue.

They've been in hiding since that FA Cup win by us and even Coutinho going has seen nothing from those i know when they'd normally be full of it.

They know they get lucky in that league game and the cup defeat has shut them up fully, if they don't care their actions so far have not shown that at all.
