Jardim basically saying they normally don't sell in Jan, but the month is long. Basically if we really want Lemar we'll get him.

Pep Guardiola admits Manchester City cannot be considered anything like as big a club as Liverpool until they start winning more trophies.

City are runaway leaders at the top of the Premier League and odds-on to win their third title in seven seasons.

The Etihad side are also still on for the quadruple having progressed to the League Cup semi-finals, the last 16 of the Champions League and the fourth round of the FA Cup.

City are 18 points ahead of fourth-placed Liverpool with the two teams clashing at Anfield on Sunday.
the quadruple. how many times have we heard this exact speculation from numerous teams over the last couple of decades.

It will make his departure hurt less, but make no mistake Lemar isn't at Phil's level.

It's about 15 months when we heard it last when it comes to City. To be fair, they have a much better chance of doing it now.

Definitely not at his level, but I don't think he is far off and they are even slightly different players. Lemar is a little more direct and powerful, but Phil's vision is second to none. I just think Lemar will continue to develop and we will be better for it.

    Summer... shame.
I would love Pulisic here tbf, but Dortmund would fleece us

I think Lemar does things Coutinho does but not all and Keita does things Coutinho does but not all. Heís a unique player Coutinho. But if we get two players who have similar traits and more it helps the 11 more overall.

Bag Lemar and Keita in this window and all will be moved on. We have to sign someone though and it has to be quality. Itís suicide not to do so and risking it all if we donít get top four.

He isn't far from the finished product, he is much further along than Coutinho was when we signed him. As for Salah, who knows, part of me wants to think he knows he is in a good place for his game, but you never know with money.
