Regardless, we need a new experienced, reliable number 9 in the squad because we don't have one, that way the answer to the question in this thread becomes both and gives us options for different types of matches.

Bobby for some, the new player for others, both with Firmino in behind for others, the more options you have the better chance of success you then have, Bobby being versatile is a big asset for this too.

We need to buy a Brazilian.
Might have to trim the squad to pull it off though.

For me he is more of a second forward, just like Suarez operated with Sturridge.

That's ok. Plenty here who like to play between the lines.

#9 for me, but our striking options need a bit of a revamp it seems.

TBF Klopp has restructured his options since he has been here with the likes of Benteke and Origi moving out and Solanke coming in.

Will be interesting to see if he adds to it especially if Sturridge and Ings move on in the next six months or so.

Without discussing it, when the hell are we going to get a judgement on the holgate incident?

Itís been a week and nothing.

The longer this goes on, the more concerned I am getting that they are building a case against him.

Outcome aside, this is not the ideal preparation for him to play against city.

If we had a reliable 9 I would push Firmino back and he could be the "cover" for Cou's departure but we don't so for me he needs to remain up front for now

Not sure what case they can bring against him. Nothing from extensive review of the footage has shown anything that could be interpreted as "racist." Nobody heard anything racist. They have nothing but Holgate's word, who doesn't seem the virtuous man himself and who as far as I know doesn't speak Portuguese.

So why is it taking so long to say so?

Dunno. Debating how long to ban Holgate I'm hoping.

I very much doubt it. Certainly, not for the push, and nor for the accusation, as we all hope.

Maybe for the alleged homophobic comments he made, but that's a a separate issue and would have no bearing on any decision regarding bobby.

Takes a top class striker to do what Firmino did today.

    Class 9

Absolutely. That goal reminded me of Torres' v Chelsea in '07.

    A new hero emerges.
