"Ryan Kent has joined Bristol City on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old, who spent the first half of the campaign with Freiburg, will spend the remainder of 2017-18 at Ashton Gate having put the finishing touches on his

    temporary switch on Friday.

Academy graduate Kent signed a long-term contract extension with the Reds last summer and made six appearances for Bundesliga outfit Freiburg before returning to

    Anfield.

Bristol City currently sit fourth in the Championship and face a Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Manchester City later this month."

    according to LFC official website,

frankly I don't know if it's a learning curve for the boy or a step forward to bid farewell to our club,

certainly at his new temporary club, Ryan could further hone his skills and improve any aspect of his professional football activity,

it's a step forth in his football career,

as I said before, I don't know if he will break into our first team establishment, only future will tell,

by the way, we wish him nothing but the best of luck of this temporary adventure at Bristol City,

hopefully he'll be back at Melwood next summer a stronger and fitter footballer, and our coaching staff will take stock of his improvements achieved,

You'll Never Walk Alone Ryan Kent

So much for this club panicking in the wake of Coutinho going and rushing Ryan back, as was the accusation on here the other day.

Obvious that he just wasn't getting what was needed over in Germany so we've brought him back and now sent him to a very good club and manager in the Championship, hopefully games included.

Good luck to the lad, at the very least it will secure him a good permanent move in the summer should it work out at City.

You would expect so, yeah. Not quite sure if he'll make it with us, but certainly good enough for a promoted Championship side.

    Correct.

Good riddance to yet more deadwood.

I doubt we'll ever see him in a red shirt again.

good luck to him. dunno what went wrong over in germany but this has got to be a realistic chance to show something. under johnson at least kent will get chances, so fingers crossed for the lad. think the city game next week will be well worth a watch.

Ryan has the spark to succeed eventually, thatís what I think...
He has the explosion, the athleticism and he is fearless. He just needs a bit of luck...

I'm very disappointed should he not make it at our club,

anyway now he has the opportunity to put himself on the show regularly at a very good Championship club,

the boy is real talent, a pity should he leave permanently next summer,

I'd wish him anyway to gain a new good professional contract at a decent top flight or Championship club,

a bit as it was for our very talented Academy product Jordon Ibe,

it's right so, I wish Ryan to run the same career pathway Jordon Ibe is walking,

of course, it's the best we might wish him for his future, should his LFC career be rounded off next summer,

I could liken his likely future career a bit to Jordon Ibe's one,

I think he owns a very alike talent, with his athleticism, dribbling ability and flair,

further more, as you have just said, he looked fearless since his first LFC Academy footsteps,

    best of luck to Ryan,

Your behaviour towards our players, especially towards one of our young lads is disgusting, despicable and degrading. You're a third-rate human being.

Indeed. It seems a bit excessive and uneccessary to say 'good riddance' to a young player of ours.

... specially if he's very talented as Ryan showed to be throughout his years of service at our Academy,
