    Grabara with a save,

Jones with his first test at RB at this level and fails

Then up the other end he sets up Brewster and he hits the post

Edit: not sure it was Jones at RB for their chance

I hate to break it, but besides from Brewster, who I don’t think would have been there if we hadn’t conceded, Critchley has sucked our energy out of our game with that one sentence.

really a pity to be one goal down at half time and for the two injuries,

good play by Harry Wilson which led to our temporary lead, then the blunder made by Conor Masterson, and Michael Parker not immediately replaced after his injury

brought to two Man City goals, but frankly the partial result is harsh,

we had the most of the ball at the top end of the field for long stints of the half, and were the more threatening of the two teams as we found ourselves one goal up,

really a pity indeed, harsh result at the moment,

it will be a tough second half without Rhian Brewster up top and Michael Parker to protect the right hand side of our defence,

it will be a tough call trying to get back on level and trying to get the three points,

but obviously we can always try and hope in Lady Luck,

    keep it up Redmen!

Surprised they're leaving Wilson on, he's clearly struggling.

Decent performance from our lads despite the disruption of losing two players in the first half. Not much between the two teams.

Not sure what Critchley was thinking tonight.

Well one thing is for sure. City didnt win that game , Liverpool lost it.

Some very young lads in that side but they need to be a) more clinical and b) stop conceding stupid goals

    Lots to learn.

what a ****! we woke up too late and despite we didn't even deserve to lose, we frankly didn't showcase our traditional grit, determination, and coolness ahead of

goal over the second half that we showed off in the recent past, what a pity, we wasted three four good chances to score even more than two goals we knocked in,

but our lack of ruthlessness ahead of goal was blatant,

add the off day of some of our strikers, the injuries we were stricken and the defensive blunders we made, then the final result has been well served up,

furthermore, as I said before, we lacked our usual attributes throughout the second half, and that should be an essential prerogative to forge a winning team,

not a good night at the office for our youngsters indeed, really frustrating and daunting in sight of our future appointments,

with this depleted selection, I really don't know how we could end up the current season,

I frankly cast a lot of doubts on our possibility to lift the EPL trophy at the end of the current campaign,

    disappointed and saddened,

That was how I saw it too, the lad clearly signaled to take him off about 2 minutes before the city player skipped past him without a tackle, I have never seen that happen before that a manager would ignore a player asking to be substituted after twice receiving treatment.

On a positive note Grabara, Kane, Alves, Johnson, Jones and Brewster (hopefully not a serious injury) all showed good talent and workrate.

    totally spot on, mate,

I noticed a lack of character and determination by the lads who usually were on the fringes of the team,

this should be a big opportunity for them to exhibit what they are capable of, but unfortunately they failed the appointment,

I remark just a positive performance by our U23 debutant Curtis Jones, who put on the show a very good range of passes and the traditional skillset

he has already exhibited at U18 level, very promising indeed, and still up to the U23 football standard,

one of the few positives to take from this game,

plus, I would say, Kane, Alves and a bit of Dhanda,

the rest was average and with lack of passion, our defense were often caught and broken down by the citizens counter attacks,

the things worsened when Michael Parker was called off because of injury, but he should be called off a couple of minutes before we conceded the second,

I really don't understand what was drifting into our coaching staff mind in those moments,

the first goal was a gentle mistake made by Conor Masterson, who gave the ball away coming out of our backline and create a favourable mismatch of the right hand side

of our defence for the citizens which pounced on the chance and got on a temporary level,

the third goal was another mistake by our defence, Juanma was beaten by his man on the byline who made a pull back for the onrushing city forward who converted with a half volley,

certainly not one of our impeccable defensive displays,

Reminded me of the first team a bit, not clinical at one end and ruthlessly punished at the other.

Curtis Jones made is u23 debut and looked very good.

He’s a cracking talent. Brilliant in the 18s and didn’t look out of place tonight.
