#ASRoma are reportedly working to extend Alissonís contract, as well as raising his release clause to Ä90m. https://www.football-italia.net/1171...lisson-renewal Ö #LFC #PSG #RealMadrid

And since the season started, he's made about £120k/week. That's not too bad but of course he's due a raise.

I'd never heard of Alisson until we were linked but I have to say he looks an absolutely top class keeper. Commanding, skilfull, quick, great kicking game + the Brazillian No1 to boot!!

I would be more than happy with him and Karius as our keepers next season.

you do realise that the majority of wages around the league are incentive based and its not just something lfc do.

Firmino should be on huge wages, it's as simple as that.

If we don't offer them, we have only ourselves to blame when his agent casts the net out to club's that will.

I mentioned his name when he was at Internacional in Brazil and then he made the move to Roma.

He was brilliant in Brazil and has clearly carried that over to the Italian League.

    No idea.

However, I've heard a price of £45m being branded around which would make him the most expensive keeper of all time.

Ouch - poor season all round for Alex.

In the right set up he is a top player but I just don't see him working out at Arsenal.

Have no doubt Klopp would get better out of him but I’d rather have Firmino...

Maybe someone could look into their training regime....like their manager. It seems to happen to them an awful lot.

    I'm not sure.

He looks a decent finisher but very little else so far.

Word is that this is in fact his last contract at the club so they have 18 more months of this.

Couple of my Arsenal mates have actually stopped going to the home games now both citing "what's the point, everything is nasty and you know the sort of results you're going to get, it's not fun right now"....pretty much sums it all up.

Nothing to do with Bobby though, is it? If we don't want to pay to keep an elite level player, someone will gladly take him off our hands.

When you watch him play at Lyon he was all over the place. Working back, winning the ball, appearing on the left flank, right flank, down the middle. Now all you see is him standing on the shoulder off the last defender doing absolutely sod all.

It's weird. It's almost like Wenger is telling him to just stand around doing nothing. As you say, at Lyon he pressed almost like Firmino does. He was well known for being one of the hardest working strikers in the league. At Arsenal he looks like a small Benteke.

Absolutely right. His workrate for Lyon was something else and he would drop back and win tackles and get the ball back on his own.

Its as though Arsene has said stay on the last defender and let someone pass you the ball. Its absurd as he is using none of Lacazette's attributes at all.

The way he’s been playing I’m sure their fans think him getting injured is quite lucky for them.

Still think Lacazette was made to seem better by all the pens he scored, yes we had the debate in the summer when people laughed and said, well you still need to score them, its a goal it counts etc.

Yes that is true but if Lacazette had taken 12 pens this season which I think he had last season I doubt we would be talking about him being no good as he would be in double figures.

just lazy scare mongering again though isn't it. as has already been stated he is on around 120k 'ish and its also been reported that he and his agent are set for talks over a new deal.

Who else is left in Europa? Atletico, Dortmund?

Arsenal must have a decent chance of getting into CL that way, same as Utd last year

I see Clyne is back in full training and travelling with the squad to Porto and Marbella. Will be good to see him getting a few games at end of the season if fit
