We’ll see when we get to Salahs peak.

As good as he is though, Suarez was something special. Really special. Hopefully Salah gets there too.

Suarez greatest player to play for the club alongside the king.

    Salah's 25 right?

If he developed Luis' self belief I think he could be the best player in the world (once Messi goes). But Suarez has it all - mental, technical and physical. Always hungry, impossible to stop, scored all sorts of goals, never injured. His only flaw was being suspended.

Salah is more effective at 25 than Suarez was. If Salah makes the same levels of development which he really seems to be doing at the moment it will be the flip of a coin, which is crazy really.

Peak Suarez by a mile. I'd also take about twenty plus other former players ahead of Salah too.

Saurez by a mile, that’s how good he was that season.

A player that made average players look better

Salah needs another 9 goals and 5 assists in 928 minutes to match Suarez's total in 2013/14 which was achieved in 2965 minutes. Salah has played 2037 minutes so far, and has registered 22 goals and 7 assists, or goal every 92.6 minutes and an assist every 291 minutes. So if he maintains his current rate of scoring and assisting, Salah will have scored 32 goals and 10 assists in the same amount of minutes as Suarez.

I love the fact we are having this discussion. I would also prefer Suarez I think but it's a close call. The Salah goal against Tottenham was special, it came out of nowhere, just like many of Suarez goals

Haven't checked the stats but we're probably creating much more chances than we did when Suarez was in the team with BR.

If Suarez was here now he'd probably have 30 goals already.

Still not confident when Salah takes a long strike for example that he would score.

I don't think we've seen peak Salah yet.

When I think of Suarez I think of him surrounded by 4 defenders: puts the ball through one of their legs, bounces the ball off the other two like a pinball machine and chips the goalkeeper.. a truly unique player it’s just not fair to compare..

The more I watch Salah though the more I see a bit of Messi and a bit of Suarez style in him. If he continues like this we have one of the worlds top players with us

Salah, simply because there’s no baggage with him. They are both having a similar impact on performances and results so I’ve no major preference ability wise.

Enjoying Salah’s form at the moment, but Suarez was simply another level, and still is.

I don't think we've seen the Suárez of Liverpool at Barcelona that often. No room for it with Messi in the team. He's of course been otherwise very good.
