Makes sense. Need Hendo for this game.

Can't wait for this. Finally a proper CL knockout tie back where we belong!

    Yes. Oh, yes.

    A wee bit scary, though…

Perhaps a little nervous trepidation...'scared' is what I'd be if I was a Porto fan.

I believe Klopp has been far more pragmatic this season, probably because the league was over for us so soon, but partly because he has his eye firmly on doing well in The Champions League.

We havenít played with the same intensity in many league games of late, Klopp has opted to set up more solidly and play on the counter.

Itíll be interesting to compare energy levels for Spurs against Juve in contrast to ours in Porto, as Spurs have played 3 very high intensity games in 10 days.

Perhaps because we've got the utterly prolific (but obviously not prolific enough for some) Salah on our team!

He's prolific, he's terrific… he knows just where to stick it!

    He's no Galah, he's Mo Salah… let's hope he doesn't brick it!

He's been more pragmatic, but we've scored more goals away from home (34) in the league than we did in the whole of last season (33). Probably the problem has been home goals in the league where we've only scored 27 which is below usual standards.

We need to be on our game and get the job done.

Jason McAteer said in the papers on Sunday

Let's get the spirit 2005 and try to win the Champions League

Don't expect us to win it but it would Dam nice to get close to semi-final or final

Do you not realise that Real Madrid and PSG play each other? That means that one of them has to go out. I'm not surprised that slipped your mind.

Yep i know that thank you for pointing out but I'm just saying there is 6 big teams still in the competition

Then there is United Chelsea Saville and Rome

It won't be easy to get to the final but it would be damn exciting if we can

Again you've selectively forgotten that Chelsea play Barcelona. Again one has to go out. Why don't you just go and talk about past managers in the wrong thread.

We certainly can't complain about the draw for the last 16 knocking a couple heavyweight spenders out. Would have been better to see Bayern/City or United as well though.

Supposing we get to the quarters. It would be nice if Real Madrid/PSG got Barcelona/Chelsea and City/Basel got United/Sevilla. That would knock out a few more big hitters , I believe the perfect draw for us would be Juventus. I reckon we've got the beating of them.

Right now are Chelsea out of the Champions League are Tottenham out of the Champions League are PSG out of the Champions League

Right now there's a lot of heavy hitters till both games of played then we know who is left of the big hitters

Then we can say where there's this this this cup still in the competition to get past

Again I was trying to be positive but saying yes it's heavy competition but I hope we get to the final

It is great to have the champions league again ...

I think if we get a victory in this away leg ,we will get back the confidence and momentum we lost after Swansea and west brom.
I hope we don't have any injuries ,i saw on Twitter a story about lallana having frostbite ..

Hope everything is ok... Really looking forward to this game

Porto havenít been beaten in the league all season, but if you look at their Champions League group I donít think they are a top side.

We will have to perform well over the two legs to progress
