    Hey guys,

I'm a Porto fan and I'm heading to the match on wednesday. I'm here to ask if any of you know what time will the Liverpool team arrive at the airport tomorrow, as I would like to try to meet some players. Thank you and good luck for both games! May the best team win

Three of the biggest names are guaranteed to go out in this round, not 4, although a higher number is certainly not an impossibility.
There is a chance albeit a small chance Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid could all go out. Or alternatively Spurs, Chelsea and PSG could go out. That means 3 strong outfits definitely go out. It's not a given Man United will make the last 8 either. Their record in Spain against Spanish sides is pretty poor and we know how good Sevilla are at home particularly in Europe.

The Reds have not progressed to this stage of the competition since 2009, and new legends need to be made, as we prepare to return once again to the glamour of the Champions League knockout stages. Who will be our next Rafa, Istanbul, Stevie G, Alonso........

If Klopp and co underestimate Porto, the way we did Basel, Ludogorets, Lyon and Fiorentina in the Champions League in recent years, then they will be quickly eliminated.

So, Porto are not Crystal Palace, WBA or Swansea, instead they are a capable side, doing well in their country and currently with far more experience of the Champions League than we have. As we look to re-establish ourselves as a leading force under Klopp, consistent progression in the Champions League is vital, so the incentive is up for grabs if we are big enough to take it.

Klopp is trying his best, and Liverpool are improving, but Klopp’s team lacks the nous and defensive fight of Rafa's outfit, even if the current side have greater attacking flair.

A 6th European Cup is not out of our grasp at the moment. The road to Kiev will be long and arduous – but, most importantly, it begins in Portugal on Wednesday night.
Also Can not available for this one. Expect to see Henderson back in the midfield.

That was the idea. Henderson was left out completely yesterday in preparation for the trip to Portugal.

    Well it's pretty easy.

3 big hitters have to be eliminated because they are drawn against 3 other big hitters. That reduces the competition for the last 8. Three of the big hitters won't be in the last 8.

    I see...

I think its hard to accept that line of reasoning ...We can rationalize it comfort ourselves , but if we meet chelsea next round (assuming we go through) , we'd be given more favorable odds than if we meet barca...Its because even amoug Europe's elite there are certain teams that are better than others...

So real, spurs and chelsea getting eliminated is not the same psg, juventus and barca getting eliminated

I was at your stadium for Euro 2004! One of my favourites in the world! And we got Arroz De Marisco right around the corner from the stadium, and it was spectacular!

A big test of how good we really are, will klopp play his usual game or be a bit more cautious, a game we should not lose a draw would be great a wkn fantastic.

Vincent Aboubakar is their main man, he’s missed the last few games through injury.

Wasn't he ruled out of both legs?

He is not definatley out but is very likely to miss the first leg.Think he will be back for the 2nd one. Danilo Pereira, Marcano and Andre Andre are all injured as well, whilst Felipe will miss the game due to suspension.

If he is that is really good news, he’s been banging them in this season.

Midfield need to step up in this game, huge part of these fixtures is the midfield protecting the defence and aiding the attack.
