    Made up with that.

Puts to bed the debacle of last week and we bounced back well mentally. Could have scored more goals, and did well to keep a clean sheet too. Karius was excellent so fair play to him.

    Pressure is now on Chelsea.

That's the first time in forever that I've been relaxed in the last ten minutes.

    It says it all.

Performance of a high quality side right there.

Absolute minimum of fuss (at a Bogey ground for Klopp) with chances to increase the lead and not a sniff from the opposition at our goal.

Thats how you deal with the Cannon fodder of this league.

    Can't always be Champagne football.

Loving this side to our game.

I was not at all panicked in the last 10 and that says something when I watch us!

Big shout to VVD and Karius, could be the start of something...

Comfortable victory. VVD played with a cigar on. He's gonna be good for us.

Tyler was desperate for the saints to score wasn't he?

As easy a game as you are going to get.

I thought Roberto Firmino was brilliant today. The work he puts in and the tackles he makes puts defenders and midfielders to shame. And what more can be said of Mohamed Salah.

And a clean sheet at the back too. Defence looked comfortable and Karius with a few good saves to boot. Job done!

Disappointed we didn't score more, but a solid defensive performance and a good win away to a bogey team.

    Well done Redmen.

If we have not drawn so many games we’d be in sight of Man City. Frustrating. But let’s celebrate a good win.

Superb, controlled, clinical performance and result, not out of 2nd gear but should have been 5-0.

Weren't great first half but still found ourselves 2-0 up, then controlled the match brilliantly in the 2nd half and showed we can see out games as it should be done, that will improve next season i'm sure too.

Great habit to get in to when you don't play at top level on the day but win comfortably, love it.

Nevermind top 4 flapping as we've seen on here, we can get 2nd and leave the 3rd/4th place battle to the others, CL still to come aswell and we are capable of doing that competition very well..

We had 2 more goals than we probably deserved at half time, but had 2 less than we deserved in 2nd. Strange game. We were being overrun at times in the 1st half but cigars time in 2nd

Didnít mean to come across aggressive, if anything Iím being positive.

Not being close to city this year is nothing to be upset about.

The second half was really impressive to me. Shaky first half but once we found ourselves going into the break with a 2-0 lead we never allowed them a sniff.

How good is van Dijk? Faultless under pressure today, big scrutiny with what happened in the summer.

Won every battle and not fazed for a second in possession even in tight spaces. Best CB in the league (alongside Toby) for me in this sort of form.

Brings some calmness to the show, both Dutchman today gave us some much needed calmness today.

We will see the defensive continue to improve over the remainder of the season with Virgil back there.

I love how he always looks a little annoyed. Always aware when someone isn't doing their job.

Best thing about that Firmino assist is he's looking where to put it.

He is super. Very valuable in games like that because he's so calm and cool and unlikely to make a stupid error to let the other side back in.

Yeah Matip is a VVD backup. I want someone aggressive like Lovren, but better.
