Many reds... or should I say electric oranges had a good game today. Salah and Firmino obviously on the scroresheet, Mane was seriously menacing (I loved that volley, shame it was blocked), Van Dijk was imperial (beginning to look the part ) and Matip unfussy. Emre too played really well and Lallana came on and looked classy. Special mention must go to Karius who was extremely good in goal (only one silly throw, otherwise great)

Gini wasn't too negative and invisible and Milner was good when he came on.

I wasn't too impressed with TAA, he needs to take more authority when on the ball. Robertson had a couple of awful moments in defence and Oxlade Chamberlaine had probably his worst game to date for us, just wasteful.

    Overall very profession.

a nice comfortable result and thoroughly professional performance. pleasing thing was seeing out a 2-0 win.

I am a happy guy. Think about where we are compared to when Klopp took over, our team really was a shambles.... It's still going to take some time, but hopefully people are starting to realise that Klopp is playing the long term game.

    Desperately needed those 3 points.

Refreshing to see us see a game out easily too.

I must admit VVD looks very impressive.

I had my reservations but he looks a very cool customer indeed. His organising of the backline was superb today.

in a nutshell - so many others had an easier start to the season and now its starting to even out as we are getting mainly teams below the top 7.

It's been said a hell of a lot, but he really is the 'rolls royce' of defenders

VVD is class. Makes defending look easy and with minimal fuss.

Best in the league along with Toby and up there with the best in Europe. Put him in Real's or the Juventus backline and it wont weaken them.

A nice lovely regulation 2 nil. Seriously impressed with how we eased into that 2nd half. We set the stall out early and then managed the game from there.

Van Dijk looking seriously good, constantly talking to everyone. Another player like Can who absolutely knows he’s brilliant at football. The air around him is impressive, nothing looks too hard or too easy for him, he’s just there dealing with it and that’s it.

Sets us up nicely for the midweek game.

    Well in RedMen

VVD is in a different class than Can. And I'm a fan of Can.

Keep seeing tweets of ‘Not our best night’ and things similar. Can’t be brilliant every game but i thought that was stupidly impressive that win. So professional and every lad played well!

Karius played brilliantly. Van Dijk was just class and don’t get me started on Bobby and Mo. I seriously wouldn’t swap Bobby for ANY striker! Really impressed by that red men and onto Porto!!

Isn't our next away game in the league Man Utd?

    That's a massive game.
