Now Karius is Kloppís number one for the remainder of the season and having put in a good performance against Southampton, do you think Klopp will start Mignolet against Porto on Wednesday?

This season Klopp has had his number 2 as the cup keeper throughout the season but against West Brom Mignolet looked a bag of nerves (even more than usual).

Surely logically Klopp canít really pick Mignolet in a crunch game when the reality is he has no future at the club. Iím not a massive fan of either Keeper but surely he has to play Karius in one of our most important games of the season.

If he doesn't change the keeper, he can just say he was only changing the keeper for the group games, but the knock out stage he is sticking to the keeper he uses in the league.

Karius has been out Champions League goalie all season, no reason for it to change now he's actually No.1

Or he can just say that Karius is still the Champions League keeper, end of!

Would be outrageous to start Mignolet. No reason to try and keep him happy anymore.

There is **** all reason for Mingingsave to come back in. He said himself rotation is unhealthy, well for the sake of all our health stay the **** away from the side, Simon.

My only worry is that Mignolet played all league games up to the New Year and Karius the cups, so that's half a season, now Karius is playing all league games and Mignolet played the FA Cup game.

Surely he wouldn't be giving them half a season each in the league with the other in the cups, would be a weird way to go about things.

ďAsked who would start in goal at Estadio do Dragao, Klopp said: ďTo be honest I have not made the final decision but it is not the same situation as it was.

ďA good one will play. Thatís the plan. But I havenít made the decision so far.ĒĒ

Karius is starting by the sounds if it

Regardless of whatever promises were given back in August, he owes Mignolet nothing.

Starting him in the CL would be stupid.

Agreed, if he believes Karius is better then he needs to stick with that. I hate rotating keepers.

If not Karius, I’d rather he started Danny Ward!

Karius has become better and better since he took over the gloves. Mignolet has been terrible and his comments about leaving and not accepting rotation was poor as well. Keep migs out and let Ward get a few games if Karius needs a break. We need to see if Ward can make it here.

It has to be Karius. With the appointment of a new GK scout or whatever he is Karius needs to play every game between now and the end of the season, unless he gets to a stage where is is playing terribly.

We have to stop this nonsense. Pick a keeper and a centre back partnership and stick with them until the end of the season. That way we might improve consistency, develop understanding and learn what we need to do in the summer.

Karius has to play. Itís time to nail our keeper down.

Karius is number one and should play every game.

Karius should definitely start the CL game as he is our number one now at least until the end of the season.

Squints has been given ample opportunity to nail down the number one slot and has shown time and again he does not meet the required standard i.e. he costs us more points than he saves us

There should be no debate around this in my view - Karius from here on in (with Ward waiting in the wings as his deputy).
You're not as stupid as you look, or sound, or our best testing indicates.

We need stability and understanding in our defence, theres no logic to rotating a keeper. Karius has done all thats been asked of him the last couple of games and even though I think his weaknesses will be exposed by top strikers I think he should be given a chance. If he's not good enough then Ward should step up. Anyone but Mignolet.
