    That’s a fair point

    Totally mate.

I just heard Simon Jordan on Talksport talking about how the money in the PL today is nothing compared to what it is going to be - £50m will be minimum entry point for standard players

He reminds me a bit of Sakho with his gait.
Haven't seen much of him but is he a bit clumsy?

Beast of a player. Clumsiness is definitely not one of his traits.

I really like Ndidi, have since he came but I think he's got a bit to iron out still. I'd take him for the right price.

Based on what? These lazy narratives are annoying.

He is a true DM, a #6 or whatever one wants to term it but Klopp has already stated that he does not want a true DM. He wants that role shared between two B2B CM’s. He has already bought one of those in Keita, who appears to be one who will share that role and so I dont see that Ndidi is the other as he doesn’t have the attacking side of his game. And at 50m - absolutely not for me!

he will honestly be playing for madrid or bayern at the age of 26/27. i’m that confident in his ability. great ball winner and hustler. cant really make a forward pass but that’s what the other two cm’s are for.

    ————ndidi——————
    ——-lallana——-keita————

decent midfield with lallana, ox and wijnaldum to fight for the more advanced role.

Mad how many quality players come from Genk.

Maybe just make them our new Southampton.

They have a great academy and some top players have come out of that club.

Courtois, De Bruyne, Carrasco, Praet, Defour, Benteke, Origi, Ndidi and Leon Bailey all came from there.

What's maddening is that we signed a deal with them in 2010 to have them loan any African and South American lads we bought who couldn't get work permits here. Surely could have negotiated first refusal on several of the above, but didn't occur to us it seems.

Wow - that's some list of players.

I thought we had some agreement in place with them. Unbelievable we didn't pick up one of those players direct from them. You would think our scouting department would have had a look with our connection with them.

    Can he control a game?

If not, then it’s a no for me.

That's my gripe with him. I've liked the player even before he came to England, but his passing is quite rubbish.

No doubt he looks a good player, but we’ll just end up having the same midfield as this season, only with more legs.

If you had an Alonso next to him it would be awesome. Then again I'd rather have an Alonso next to Keita.

If thats the case, what percentage of teams in Europe’s top 4 leagues can afford to pay £50 for an average defensive midfielder like Ndidi... I’m not sure anyone has even spent that much on a defensive midfielder today!

Yeah. Gonna be interesting to see what we do with our midfield. This is only a rumour anyway.

It’s hard when you, more often than not, only have eyes for Southampton players

with him and keita in there it would fit far better than now, then in an ideal world you would have guy that dictates the game

Leicester must be the most valuable team in the world then. £50m average DM, £90m average winger... I wonder how much Vardy is worth... £150m

Yeah. I’m not convinced we’ll sign that player, though.

Let’s offer them £150m for Wes Morgan... he’s twice as heavy as VVD so must cost twice as much. After all £150m is the new £30m
