    read that after heeding expert advice ryan mason has retired at 26 years old !!
    gutted for the lad after he fractured his skull after a sickly clash of heads with gary cahill. really wish him well in the future YNWA ryan

    retirement aside, will a fracture skull be healed on its own, or it requires treatments of some sort?

    Tough break for him, but hopefully he can realize that on the other hand hes probably lucky to be alive and/or have the full use of his mind and body. Absolutely horrific incident that I can barely get myself to think about.

    No doubt hell have lots of support from all the clubs to keep in the game, and hell make a good life for himself. Best of luck to him.
