    Well done jay.

Yeah exactly. its a pity when people, mostly oots like chris-ninis dont have faith in our youngsters.

I would rather have a team full of scousers than a team full of foreign ******s, if you dont like our home bred talent then **** off and support Man Utd.

Really liked the way the occasion didnt get to him. His challenges were full on without being mis timed or wreckless. He wasnt afraid to give a few madrid players a nudge when running past them if an offside had occured or free kick.
Fair play to the lad, with that sort of attitude and a few more chances in the team we could have a real prospect there.

Top performance by the lad. Seemed at ease and not out of place.
The future looks good for him, the future is Red.

The best thing for me was not only seeing him play well and not look out of place, but also knowing that he is not the best player in the Reserves/U-18s!! The likes of Pacheco, Nemeth, Kelly, Pepper, Bruna (maybe), Ecclestone, Ince, Amoo, Dalla Valle are all great prospects with arguably more 'talent' than Young Jay. They just need to show the heart and passion that the young lad shows. Well done Jay. Hope you become a legend.

Good to see the youngster's given a chance. We've now seen Insua, Ngog and Spearing in the last 2 games hopefully there's a few more on their way.

Well done tonight though Mr Spearing.

Yeah he looked great, tis a wonder why he has only just had the chance eh. Alot of people on here werent giving him that much of a chance either, but if he can play like that in more starts, then i'll be happy.

Seemed like a mid field bull dog didn't he. I haven't seen as many reserved matches as most, but what kind of a mid fielder is he? He seemed more comfortable in the defensive mid field role than lucas did. And oddly enough lucas looked better closer to goal.

I don't understand why people don't rate him. Apart from being rather ugly he's never played a poor game for us.

    Totally well done.

I've been bigging this lad up on here for 2 years and even in the face off 'He's rubbish, he'll never make it'...........RUBBISH.

This lad has great ability. He's a good passer of the ball, can score goals and puts his foot in where it hurts to. He never gets phased by anything and will always do the job the manager asks of him.

He's only 5'6 but has the heart of a lion and he came on tonight and didn't look out of his depth at all and it didn't matter that the match was over, he still had to go out there and he wasnt in awe of anything.

Well done Jay and he defo has a future he IMO.

I would rather have a team full of top-class players. Couldn't give a flying **** whether they're from Croxteth or Peru as long as they play well for us.

... Peter Schmeichel couldn't stop drooling over how well we played. He called our tempo "not for humans". A former Man Utd player but what an unbiased legend on TV.

He did have an abnormally red nose though...he was like the danish version of Rudolph.

I rate him along with Niall Quinn in the respect that when watching a game, they can purely comment on what is in front of them and not bring in other teams to discussion.

Mølby is great on Danish tv like that. He's supposed to be a neutral but he keeps saying "we" when he commentates Liverpool games.

Funnily enough, I am not concerned by what an ex Manchester United player has to say about us.
